My wish list

Blackmon at S. (We missed the boat this year bc he's looking to sign with Carolina)

Justin Simmons at S bc he is still awesome

Campbell at DT older but elite vs the run, good pass rusher

I think the team is waiting til after the draft for two reasons to bring in any free agents.

1. To see where the needs still are after the draft
2. To avoid losing comp picks

Would love Simmons and Campbell for their veteran presence - key to the young guys we'll have filling out the defense. As well as their contributions even at this age.

This is so important. They could have contract agreements with certain players already, telling them they'll be signed right after the draft.

I really like his speed and mobility. Hoping he grows into the role and thrives. He's going into year 3, I have big hopes and we need him to come through.

Yeah as mentioned in the video if he can stay healthy which has been a problem for him. I think he'll do well under Saleh if hes healthy and given more play time.

I'm looking at it this way too atm.
We could easily win the super bowl with a good draft class. I think todays NFL is more set up by ref calls and injuries than anything else.

The current Super Bowl champs (Eagles) came out of nowhere last season making one big move (SB signing) that got them over the hump. We could do the same thing if we nail this upcoming draft.

Eagles haven't come out of nowhere. They've been in their SB window going back to 2022 when they lost the SB to the Chiefs. They just did a better job reloading compared to Shana-Lynch.

The Eagles have really had good drafts the last 4 seasons. Part of it was luck like when Nolan Smith fell in their lap in 2023 at #30. In succesive darfts they were able to get the 3 main guys from the Georgia defense that was so dominant. Jordan Davis, Jalen Carter and Noan Smith.

They've been incredibly lucky in many ways. Injuries for one. Incredibly healthy team going into that SB last year.

Also as you said draft and even FA luck in terms of who was available. I'd say Jalen Carter falling to them was the major stroke of luck(unfortunately not to the poor guy who died racing with him) but Carter should've been an easy top 5 pick.

Then this past offseason they get Barkley being available to improve their run game for just a nothing special contract, don't even have to trade for him like we did with CMC. Then with all their issues in the secondary they literally have the draft fall where they get their pick of the top corner in round 1 and follow it up with another really good DB with DeJean falling to them.

Someone needs to check Howie Roseman's house. He's got some kind of voodoo thing setup in there.

That's it right there... bring the rooks and have those two, Warner and Bosa mentoring.

Secondary could be ball hawking / strength of the D for a change and Dline would be scary good if a couple of the rooks step up.
There seems to be some WRs in this draft that really fit the mold of what we desire. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't take one or two. I can us using a second or third on one.

If this changes, we could really win the Super Bowl

Maybe Kyle should ask his dad about killer instinct and stop playing the SB so close. Eagles realized they were playing against the Refs going in and went for the jugular early and often.
