We could easily win the super bowl with a good draft class. I think todays NFL is more set up by ref calls and injuries than anything else.

The current Super Bowl champs (Eagles) came out of nowhere last season making one big move (SB signing) that got them over the hump. We could do the same thing if we nail this upcoming draft.

Problem is we never get any calls lol

If this changes, we could really win the Super Bowl

Maybe Kyle should ask his dad about killer instinct and stop playing the SB so close. Eagles realized they were playing against the Refs going in and went for the jugular early and often.

Dude...some of your posts I question if you watch some of these games.

There was so much talk about the Chiefs getting all the calls that they completely flipped the script in the SB. Eagles got a ton of calls in their favor in that game and a bunch of no calls. Hell they finally started calling holding on the Chiefs OL. Seriously did you watch the game?

Went for the jugular early and often....

They had a 10-0 lead in the 2nd quarter and got their TD after a complete joke of a roughing call where they would've been punting.
49ers had a 10-0 lead in the 2nd quarter.

They didn't go for the jugular until late 3rd quarter when the score was already 27-0. Main difference was the Eagles D didn't lose one of it's best players and they got a defensive score making it 17-0, then had Mahomes throw another pick giving the Eagles offense the ball on the KC 14 yard line.

Not to mention some of you guys claim Kyle should've gone for the jugular...and yet same people complain about him not running enough in the 3rd quarter.

Pick a side.

They were just in the SB 2 years ago. And the season after that had a 10 game winning streak then fell off a cliff. They didn't come out of nowhere

Yea he definitely didn't inherit that from his pops.

He did... and then everyone shat on him for it when it backfired against the Pats.

lol exactly.

Same people

"Kyle needs to stop throwing the ball with a lead!"
"Kyle is too chicken to go for the kill"

You gotta pick a lane people, can't have it both ways.

My wish list

Blackmon at S. (We missed the boat this year bc he's looking to sign with Carolina)

Justin Simmons at S bc he is still awesome

Campbell at DT older but elite vs the run, good pass rusher

I think the team is waiting til after the draft for two reasons to bring in any free agents.

1. To see where the needs still are after the draft
2. To avoid losing comp picks

Would love Simmons and Campbell for their veteran presence - key to the young guys we'll have filling out the defense. As well as their contributions even at this age.

I agree I just know by that time after the draft one or both will be signed. Sometimes having a very good veteran player is better than having a comp pick which is a 50-50 scenario at best

Both guaranteed to be gone, throw Blackmon with them too... whenever free agents get talked up in here or linked to us, they gone

Very true this year. Sucks, especially after we have the easiest schedule in the NFL and we upgraded our coordinators big time

He's not wrong. The Lenoir deal was done mid season and it's becoming a major steal already. We should try to get ahead of these deals a lot more often.

Obviously it takes both sides to get these done but can't help but think we could do a better job of it.

side note : all these big extensions for Bills players when some would like to pretend Josh Allen was out there playing without any talent around him.
So Lynch screwed around, didn't offer a contract to Greenlaw until AFTER he accepted a contract from Denver and Greenlaw walked even though we offered more money.

Way to disrespect one of our leaders of this team.

Has this regime made one proper decision?? Seriously.

Why not franchise him and keep him for a year or trade him for picks or transition tag and match the Denver offer?

I'm done with them all. They have no idea what they are doing.

I don't think this is true, I think they did offer him a contract, but it wasn't as much as the Broncos. They then offered a better contract than the Broncos gave and flew to see him to try persuade him after he verbally committed to the Denver. At the end of the day even John and Kyle in person couldn't bring him back with more money offered, so it seems like Dre wanted a fresh start and to be the #1LB to lead a defense.

He would have stayed if this money was right.

The article talked about his father comparing him to Pippen and Warner to MJ, encouraging him to get out of Warners shadow. This was a great effort by Lynch but money wasn't the reason he left, pride was.
