CMC injuries concerned. Aiyuk injury concerned. Trent always has his foot in the retirement doorway. List goes many players? We're going to be a team patched together with one to two year deals and UDFA. You can't expect them to hit on this many draft picks either. Just very poor planning at this point. I also didn't see Purdy being this way either.

We are going to lose a lot of games and this regime is going to be done soon.

This market is generally soft compared to east coast markets like philly and ny. It's just the culture. I mean fans think grant is annoying and tough lol. He would be a regular dude in the east coast. 49ers do control lots of the media guys too so that's why no one wants to put their feet on the fire

I live on the East coast. I can confirm Grant would be annoying here as well. He's never been tough btw, just annoying.

At least you have something to cheer for now. Should be happy.

The draft isn't a guarantee. Even if the draft every position of need, we don't know if they will pants out.

John Lynch already did this. Starts at 9:18.

True, but they hit quite a bit last year.

Well in the end we will be better off without Shany and Lynch. Unfortunately we are stuck with the Dorks. With John you get a blown up team every so often. When he gets upset about the salaries and visits the facility. So that's a long term problem.

If you had a patty or josh you wouldn't hesitate to throw the kitchen sink at them and you would get the deal done quick. They want brock at a geno-ish pay amount. Maybe we have different definitions of franchise qb. But to me franchise means top of the market. Which they clearly don't believe he should get 55+
I guess you haven't been paying attention but the 49ers never start out negotiations by throwing the kitchen sink at a player they always drag out negotiations in an effort to get the best deal.
I can't be mad. Can't keep erryone forever. They spent a lot of dough and really tried to win it all (two trips to SB). The reset is in full effect. There's still a lot of talent on the roster, but the trenches need quite a bit of help.

At least we know there's a definite upgrade at DC / ST and rest of staff looks good (some new faces)... trusting this staff will get it together

They've already explained themselves. Why do they need to do it again?

They said they need to reset a bit on the spending and get younger. Clearly putting a lot of weight into the draft which hasn't happened yet.

Other than last years draft, the last few years have not been good. They started great with late round picks and as I said the last 3 years other than Purdy have not been great. We need two years of 2018 2019 drafts to be back in it.

This has Dr York written all over it. Shanny and Lynch will bail if they keep this up. I feel sorry for Salah coming here to a rebuild. May hurt his chances to be a HC next year.

Im still optimistic looking at next year as well given the talent that remains but also my biggest hope comes from the schedule. I still don't see how this team doesn't win at least 11 games considering who they are playing.

The Yorks have proved over and over they are not cheap, and this organization prints money. This is about being responsible with the salary cap going forward. They are trying to avoid becoming the Saints.

What's your solution?

I don't get paid millions to think about this as they do. This is their job. Millions of dollars mind you so it's not really something I can speak to and even if any of us have the solutions it's not as if we're in the building being listened to. This is all opinion.

what I can tell you is everything that we as fans see on a daily basis.
