Agree but
Dalman and Reed seemed interesting but clearly we don't have the cash.
The Debo and Aiyuk contracts clearly snuffed out our FA opportunities this year.

Along with the Bosa, TW, and CMC contracts.

Yeah I have a big problem with them giving contracts to players who at the time were DPOTY, the best LT in football and OPOTY. Lynch be dumb

I'm so glad I've got some users on this site muted lol. Being critical of our FO is perfectly fine but my goodness 😂

I was simply pointing out that B.A & Deebo were also coming off big years.

Do well, get paid. Thats the business.

I completely agree. The only player I would have wanted is Dalman, and he got just under 15 mil a year, which is crazy. These contracts are nuts. Let the Patriots win free agency while this team needs to make smart "fit" signings and build through the draft.

Yes, the theme of this offseason is cutting ties with injury prone and/or non-productive-for-their-pay players. Seems like Greenlaw is the only player in the injury bucket they might keep.

This is what free agency is, though. When you have 32 teams bidding on a player, it raises their price. Especially when you don't have to give up draft capital for them.

It looks like some teams are rushng to sign free agents and are willing to overpay. Some aren't in good drafting positions and others might view this as an average draft without a lot of great players.

Seriously you all new to this? Free agency is expensive. Always has been.
Darnold to the Seahawks. Could be good for them in the regular season. He liked like a deer in the headlights during the playoffs though. So as long as we get a rush on him that's ok.

just focus on the guaranteed money. The overall numbers thrown out are for the agents PR.

I'm hardly new to thi. I've been a fan for 70 years. It just seems like this year us worse than ever. Very mediocre players are getting some pretty big deals. Like I said it's not viewed as a deep draft at most positions so free agency is a bigger factor for some teams.

Yep cause free agency and the draft are over.

This franchise used to have good, knowledgeable, fans. Since when have turned into the cowboys or Seahawks?

Many of them left this forum. Now it seems posters are either homers who defend everything the management does or straight up trolls with nothing better to do with their lives. There seems be little objectivity left in here.
