Here's another guy I would love SF to look into trading for

Wentz was in Philly until 2020, they f**ked up and gave him a ridiculous contract. That's the point.

49ers

trey lance
ricky pearsall

this is how the 2 teams elected to invest their round 1s.

Philly drafting top 11 in 3 of the last 4 drafts lol. Wow shocker they got better players derp.

Love how you forgot to add Jalen Reagor to their 1st rd picks. Took him one spot ahead of Justin Jefferson

what you're pointing out means absolutely nothing with what is being discussed. Like I said go look at who was being taken at 29th overall (which is where we would have been drafting in the 1st those two yrs). Quit acting like our roster would be magically turned around. SF WAS NOT starting top 11 for years like Philly was.

Faithful will argue the sky is blue just so he can hear himself talk…my god

there is no gotcha here, just a reality of our young talent has dried up. most all 49er fans can see that

Wait…. What color do you think the sky is?

2 back end 1st rd players does not dry up a roster.

that is easy to do,

2021 - micah parsons
2022 - cole strange
2023 - bryan bresee

i haven't kept up on bresee. strange would probably be a welcome addition. i think the parsons has been done to death in terms of convo, but again you asked for it, i am giving what was asked.
overall i think lynch is doing a good job, he just needs more to work with. so i would keep our round 1, and possibly trade down to stay in round 1, to get more draft assets. if anything i would sell a player or two to get more draft assets. restock the young talent here.

No, they take mcCorkle at 12. Not a LBer who no one considered an actual edge rusher. They wanted a QB keep it real man.

Bresee has been awful since coming into the league and big deal they got a guard.

acting like coming away with McCorkle, Bresee and Strange would have been some game change thing for this roster is a joke. They would still be starting Brock. They would still need help at OL/DT.
This roster isn't dried up, a good portion of the players we usually depend on were hurt. Second most cap space on IR this yr (only behind Dallas because of Dak).

they have had a plethora of picks and overall have not drafted well. Shocker that happens when you take kickers, RBs and s**tty TEs earlier than you should.

they had a damn good draft this past yr, if they do the same thing this yr. They are more than fine with a collection of stud vets and good up and coming talent across the board.

Idk but it doesn't really sound like someone who's just looking for one last payday

Sounds like someone that's tired of losing and knows he's only got a couple yrs left of elite play.

I mean it would be super difficult for a guy like that to go out onto the field next yr knowing your team is complete trash and you have zero chance of winning.

It's also pretty obvious, no matter what the Browns say, that they are absolutely not going to compete in 2025 OR 2026. That Watson contract is too poisonous. The earliest they can cut him is before 2027 for a $27M cap hit. It's a $100M+ dead cap hit any sooner.

Coincidentally (or maybe not so coincidentally) 2025-2026 is all Garrett is currently signed for.

Looks like you haven't kept up on Strange either...
