The San Francisco 49ers' season came to a disappointing end Saturday night with a 41-6 loss to the division-rival Seattle Seahawks in the Divisional Round of the playoffs. Today, Pro Football Focus released its grades and snap counts from the game.

Quarterback play
Quarterback Brock Purdy finished the game 15-of-27 for 140 passing yards, no touchdowns, and one interception. His 54.6 passer rating was a season low and his lowest ever in a playoff game.
Purdy earned a 59.3 offensive grade and a 56.4 passing grade.
For comparison, Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold finished 12-of-17 for 124 yards, one touchdown, and a 110.9 passer rating. He earned a 73.5 overall grade and a 72.1 passing grade.
Highest marks
Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III earned the highest grade of the game (90.6). 49ers tight end Jake Tonges and Seahawks linebacker Ernest Jones tied for the second-highest grade (90.3).
Tonges played 29 snaps before exiting the game with a foot injury.
Blocking
San Francisco's highest-graded offensive lineman was left guard Connor Colby, who earned an 80.7 offensive grade. He was also the team's best run-blocker (78.0). However, Colby played just three offensive snaps.
Right tackle Colton McKivitz was the next-highest-graded offensive lineman, earning a 75.7 offensive grade. He also posted the best run-blocking grade (73.6) among linemen with significant playing time.
Veteran left tackle Trent Williams recorded the best pass-blocking grade of the game (86.9). He allowed two pressures, including one hit and one hurry.
Starting left guard Spencer Burford was the lowest-graded offensive lineman in the game, earning a 43.5 offensive grade. He also finished as the team's lowest-graded run blocker (46.3) and pass blocker (38.8).
In total, the 49ers surrendered 19 pressures, with 18 charged to the offensive line.

His replacement, Luke Farrell, earned the 49ers' lowest receiving grade (44.2). He recorded one catch for one yard on two targets.
Running back Christian McCaffrey earned the team's second-highest receiving grade (85.6), finishing with five catches for 39 yards.

Running back Jordan James led the team with a 75.0 run grade. He finished with 28 rushing yards on six carries (4.7 yards per attempt).
Christian McCaffrey earned the lowest run grade of the game (52.0), finishing with 35 rushing yards on 11 carries (3.2 yards per attempt).
Pass rush
San Francisco's highest pass-rush grade went to safety Malik Mustapha (77.3), who recorded one pressure and a sack. Linebacker Dee Winters ranked second with a 72.0 pass-rush grade.
Two players tied for the lowest pass-rush grade on the team. Defensive end Bryce Huff earned a 52.5 grade, his second-lowest of the season (41.3 in Week 17 vs. the Bears). Defensive end Keion White matched his season low (52.5, Week 11 vs. the Cardinals).

Run defense
Cornerback Deommodore Lenoir finished as the team's highest-graded run defender (75.6), recording three stops. Dee Winters ranked second with a 70.1 run-defense grade.
The game's lowest-graded run defenders were rookie defensive tackles Alfred Collins (26.8) and CJ West (29.5).
For comparison, the Seahawks' lowest-graded run defender was Leonard Williams (46.0). San Francisco had six defenders graded lower: Alfred Collins, CJ West, Marques Sigle (35.8), Renardo Green (37.4), Garret Wallow (38.9), and Sam Okuayinonu (45.4).
Pass defense
Cornerback Deommodore Lenoir also earned the 49ers' top coverage grade (76.2). He was targeted twice, allowing one catch for four yards.
Cornerback Darrell Luter Jr. earned the lowest coverage grade of the game (27.5), allowing two receptions for 20 yards and a touchdown on two targets.
Tackling
Linebacker Dee Winters earned the second-highest tackling grade of the game (81.1), trailing only Seahawks safety Coby Bryant (82.7). Linebacker Eric Kendricks ranked second on the team with an 80.2 tackling grade.
The worst tackling grade of the game (25.9) went to defensive end Yetur Gross-Matos. Rookie defensive tackle CJ West followed with the team's second-lowest grade (26.7).
