It's absolutely scary how good this team could have been if they hit on a few firsts. They seem to regularly draft pro bowlers I. The 5th and below

That Bosa guy is pretty good. BA is trending positive. Then there's that qb.

Yes.

He needs a super bowl win to get into the Hall of Fame... oh wait...

Not necessarily neglecting.....but missing on draft picks.

To be fair, Moore and brunskill are serviceable linemen but they're playing out of position. (Thanks to Kyle) And banks has potential.

That first draft and it's first round is the black eye of this regime for sure. Thomas and Foster

Define neglecting?

4 draft picks in the past two drafts

That doesn't seem to be neglected

Shanahan and Lynch haven't neglected the Oline; they just suck donkey balls at drafting Olinemen.

Through Trey the 49ers will wield a power too great and terrible for the NFL to imagine.

His great strength is his charisma and rapport with the players. He is honest and the players trust him.

All of that leads to great respect around the league and with player reps. He doesn't leave any ground for reps to move players away from the 49ers. It is no accident that C Ward came here when he had other options.

Yes, he has missed on some picks, however, every GM/staff misses on picks. He has made up for the missed picks with some very good ones that have put this team in the top 5-7 teams around the league. From where he started, that is no small feat.
