Staus quo...meaning he likes the track he's on and has seen good gains with him and Kinlaw working together and they will give him every chance to heal up 100% before turning him loose. I interpret that as mostly conditioning and no contact until mid-late summer.

Just by the tone in John's voice and his body language you can tell things aren't going good with Deebo.

A common critique of your offseason so far is that you haven't accomplished your main objectives. You haven't extended Deebo, you haven't traded Jimmy. You haven't used the cap space that you could have created by trading Jimmy. And so, you're having a subpar offseason. How would you respond to that?

If it is the off-season, GMs are lying. It is what they do to hide their true plans/hopes.

oh,, i would like to tell you that was me asking that but tonight i am at the iowa radio station that i work at. interviewing high school tennis and golf coaches. lol, my daughter and hubby are doing a anniversary trip to las vegas.. she had no clue the draft was there when she booked the trip. now she has forgot about the anniversary trip and is stalking all of the hotels hoping to see steve young or some niner guy.lol.. her poor husband

I Wish i knew how to post a pic she sent me on the espn stage that is basically floating on the bellagio fountain pond. lol. she is also going to try to stand behind the espn set while they are on the air. wave and be annoying.. look for her. she is a five foot 2 inch girl with blond hair who looks 16 but is 33 and her husband is very tall and looks like tony romo. lololo. i did not have the heart to tell her that i do not think steve young covers the draft like he did for espn but maybe i am wrong. he was her first fav player and she is hotel hopping trying to find him

Remember a year ago...most NFL pundits were sure the Niners were taking Mac Jones in the draft. Lynch & Shanahan played it out and low and behold they made the big trade up to #3 and took Trey Lance. Not saying that'll happen again, but Lynch is pretty slick at keeping things close to the vest. It won't surprise me if there is a Deebo trade and it won't surprise me if there isn't. I want Deebo to at least play out his contract and we'll see where things go from there.
