Why? What exactly did Lynch do to create this problem? Deebo was asking to get the ball in the playoffs at all times and Shanahan let him. Then they barely lose the NFC CG. Deebo was all in by everything he did and said. Lynch constantly says this offseason they want to extend him and that they have the money to do so. Apparently before they can even make an offer Deebo does a 180 and demands to be traded. How exactly is this Lynch's fault?

While I'd share your frustration, firing John Lynch wouldn't prevent this s**t from happening in the future. This is a philosophical approach to player value stemming from Paraag down.

Seems that's more of a Deebo problem than a Lynch/49er problem. If Deebo isn't smart enough to see that an extension was always going to get done post-draft and not sooner thats on him.

What exactly "happened" to Buckner or GQ? They decided they couldn't keep both Buckner and Armstead and chose Armstead over Buckner. So they let Buckners team find a trade partner that benefitted both parties, damn those 49ers did him sooooo wrong that im sure other players are taking notice. QG came in and wasn't good enough. You think those players enjoy putting their blood sweat and tears into a season, get allllll the way to the end and juuuust tasting the pinnacle and then your QB s**ts the bed, and then he does it again. I can't imagine players are overly upset about GQ heading out the door.

We are all speculating since we don't know the details.

Imo deebo isn't going cold shoulder demanding a trade for no reason and sure as hell can't be because they haven't remade an offer yet. Technically if they haven't yet it is to his benefit since the market shot up. So that doesn't add up.

What makes the most rational sense is they were negotiating and it went real bad real fast. I recall when all these trades and Diggs signed he posted oh really with wide eyes.

Logically he was in talks and they must have been much lower. Once they saw the market adjust my guess is Niners didn't budge.

Once we know we can surely pass judgement where it needs to be passed.

The Buckner trade still gets an incomplete grade until we see how Kinlaw turns out. If he becomes the player they thought he could be when they drafted him and Aiyuk continues to ascend then I think the trade should probably be deemed a success. You can't pay everybody. Kittle set the market for TEs. Warner set the market for LBs. Bosa is probably going to set the market for edge rushers. It seems they are willing to pay Deebo, though probably not as much as some of those other receivers recently got, but still $18 to $20 mil a year seems more than fair.

Personally I think these player deals are getting out of hand. $280 mil guaranteed for a guy who had 20 women accuse of sexual molestation. Some of these receivers have $60 and $70 million in guaranties. Even with taxes and agent fees taken out they're probably still looking at $30 to $35 million in real money. How much money do you need to have a nice life? It's just all ego and avarice.

What's not logical, if that's all true, is to go around saying you have no offer. Him and AJ are talking about AJ being lowballed but instead of saying yah me too he's saying I got no offer.

Perhaps you are right but his words seem to directly contradict that. As do some reports.
