Those comps picks are essentially 4ths since they're at the end of the 3rd, and Laviska was a 2nd-round pick. Jaguars are a s**t show, so we'd be fleecing them.

Deebo and Laviska when they meet in the 49ers' lockerroom

Shenault and Deebo on the same offense?

Hey Lynch, I heard Laviska Shenault is available. Send the Jaguars one of those 3rd-round comp picks and bring him here to be unleashed by Shanny. Imagine Deebo and Laviska on the field together. Unlimited options.

Lets do it

This is absurd logic

It's only absurd if you just became a fan in the last ten years.

I can remember distinctly well how a championship loss in the NFC championship game would have been considered a massive failure for this franchise. Oh how far we have fallen.

first timer lynch and first timer Kyle taking five years to find a franchise QB, hitting on lots of random 5th rounders and taking a bunch of RBs high in the draft. Definitely doing things their own way.

let's hope Trey is great cause nothing else can save their jobs.

don't care about having a rushing attack in a passing league, people want rings here.

no,,, some of you people think it is just lovely to get to the title game and then to a super bowl only to lose. it is no badge of honor, especially when you find terrible ways to lose winnable games like the two super bowls and the rams game. the same people who think its great to do this are the same ones who believe in moral victories.for our franchise.,..... its is disgrace to lose in a title game and its a triple dog disgrace to lose a super bowl. and it is disgraceful that we are still setting here with jimmy g on our roster

Lol

He's right though. Champions don't settle for silver and call it success. It's a failure to achieve the true goal.

So, our official pick list currently is:

2, 3, 3, 3, 4, 5, 6, 6, 6, 7

Ten picks total until Jimmy gets dealt. Lots of ammunition to either trade up or stock up on areas that still need depth or starting competition.

C/OG, OT, WR, TE, DE, NT, S, CB

We should have plenty of resources to address the majority, if not all of these needs. The most pressing in my opinion are the offensive line, pass rush, safety, and insurance @ tight end due to Kittle's style of play.

102 was traded to MIA last year for Lance

Great stuff, even with the loss of the #103 pick, that's still a ton of draft capital. On top of that Jimmy is still in the background with a possible trade in the near future that will add more draft capital (hopefully) prior to the draft. With the restructuring of Kittle and Arik, 49ers can go into the draft without stress regarding the cap and hopefully still find some decent free agents. Once Jimmy's cap is gone, they can move ahead and sign Deebo and Bosa - which I think - is the real offseason free agency prize.

Losing Laken and DJ Jones does hurt, but it's the age of the salary cap, and you just can't keep all your stars the way they did it back in the days. There is enough draft capital to bolster the Offensive Line and Defensive Line (specifically replacing DJ Jones and adding another pass rusher). 5th and 6th round picks in the hands of ShanaLynch are potential high round gems - vs teams like Seadderall who can't draft very well.

People here love to tell us how awesome kyle and lynch are and how we are so much better off and its a good thing to lose nfc title games and super bowls.. well this bungling by kyle and lynch in regards to jimmy and their refusal to cut him. in the face that it is obvious that no team is interested in him,,,,,,,,,, this takes me back to the old 49ers days of firing mooch and then letting jh go and having no plan to bring in someone better.. they arrogantly thought they could just fleece someone into very high draft picks for jimmy. they either over estimated themselves and jimmy or underestimated how smart other teams were or both. now it is OBVIOUS.. and that is not even debatable....... no one wants him.. so what is the plan... its OBVIOUS to everyone except for those who have a blind loyalty to lynch and kyle to cut jimmy and cut your losses.. they f**ked this up. and now they have no plan. morons

With that said, jed was clear this organization wins superbowls. That's why shanalynch was brought in. 5 seasons in and we are empty.

That 6 doesn't look like it's coming any time soon even in a weak NFC as the AFC are competing so hard with each other they might go on a 10-year run of winning Superbowls. It reminds me of the old 49ers-Cowboys off season battles where those teams were competing so hard with each other they created a monster gap between them and anyone else they played.
Um didn't the Rams just win the Super Bowl and the Bucs the year before them. AFC has some catching up to do I would say.

Ha. I meant from this season on.

Just get into the playoffs, anything can happen. This last year, if not for Trent William's injury, Jimmy's injury, I think we'd have made it back into the super bowl. I'm not so much worried about talent - ShanaLynch have proven they can rebuild talent on the team. It's *injuries* that have cost us the Lombardis, not so much being out-talented.

Good news is that with 9+ draft picks, they can go for both quality starters *and* injury depth, in this years draft. I think the cornerback position has been bolstered by the signing of Chavarius, and that's a bit of a lesser need now going into the draft. With the defensive backfield being a bit of a lesser need vs Offensive Line and defensive Line, I can see them spending some draft capital on bolstering both positions in this years draft.

CCiowa, always good to see your positiveness . Just keep in mind, during those 5 super bowls, 49ers made it to the playoffs 20+ times, and lost the Conference championships 5 times. (from Joe's reign to Steve's reign). So far we've only lost *one* conference championship during ShanaLynch's time. Keep that in you *optimistic* mind.

Wow, that's a lot of draft picks! Keep it up ShanaLynch. On top of that, they have a super bowl level roster with very few holes.

It all comes back to good coaching. I think good coaching - gets you those compensatory picks for up and coming minority coaches, and on top of that gets you 3rd round compensatory picks for guys that you picked in the 6th round and developed (DJ Jones, 5th round pick/traded for Laken Tomlinson).

and every conference title loss took a little bit out of me.... however it is unacceptable to go to a super bowl and lose.... it is unacceptable to be happy with our franchise to just be happy that we got there. it is unacceptable we did not give the ball to gore or dixon on second and goal from the five. it is unacceptable that we stunningly lost a super bowl and a title game when we had ten point teams in both games late. i do not get a rats ass that other teams would kill to have that track record... i hate all other teams. this is our hill. these are our beans, i hate everything today. not cutting jimmy is unacceptable

Four of those losses were really painful. The Roger Craig fumble against that kept us from having a chance to 3 peat. The loss to Washington when the officials called PI and holding against Lott and Wright. The 2 losses to the Cowboys in successive years. The Cowboys were really good at that time so it was a case of just not being good enough. We loaded up the next year and got past them on the way to our 5th SB win.

Wtf are you talking about?

Team was a complete dumpster fire in 2016:

"THE PIECES WERE ALREADY THERE!"

Agree. On top of that, no Super bowl level QB, and a crap losing culture. Personally, I think culture is the more difficult to establish. You can get all-pro players at every position, but put them in a crap losing culture - where everybody is all about themselves, vs the team - and you will always get sub .500 winning percentage.
