I don't agree with a lot of things he does. But at the end of the day, one superbowl appearance and one nfc championship in the last 3 years is the result. Can't argue with results. He's been pretty successful.
With that said, jed was clear this organization wins superbowls. That's why shanalynch was brought in. 5 seasons in and we are empty.
That 6 doesn't look like it's coming any time soon even in a weak NFC as the AFC are competing so hard with each other they might go on a 10-year run of winning Superbowls. It reminds me of the old 49ers-Cowboys off season battles where those teams were competing so hard with each other they created a monster gap between them and anyone else they played.
Um didn't the Rams just win the Super Bowl and the Bucs the year before them. AFC has some catching up to do I would say.
Ha. I meant from this season on.
Just get into the playoffs, anything can happen. This last year, if not for Trent William's injury, Jimmy's injury, I think we'd have made it back into the super bowl. I'm not so much worried about talent - ShanaLynch have proven they can rebuild talent on the team. It's *injuries* that have cost us the Lombardis, not so much being out-talented.
Good news is that with 9+ draft picks, they can go for both quality starters *and* injury depth, in this years draft. I think the cornerback position has been bolstered by the signing of Chavarius, and that's a bit of a lesser need now going into the draft. With the defensive backfield being a bit of a lesser need vs Offensive Line and defensive Line, I can see them spending some draft capital on bolstering both positions in this years draft.
