"He's just physically gifted beyond his years," Staley said of Brown. "He's 6-foot-8, 6-foot-9 and 350 pounds. Moves like he's 270 pounds. He's got crazy long arms and he knows how to use it. ... the sky's the limit for that kid. He's unbelievably talented and he's putting it all together now and you're kind of just seeing the scratching of the surface of what he can do in this league."

Von Miller: "He is the best right tackle in the National Football League, if not a top-five offensive tackle, period. Trent Brown is one of the best in the National Football League."

I mean Harbs said Michael Crabtree had the best hands in the NFL lol who cares...Brown is currently the 44th ranked PP in the NFL.

I don't think you have to worry. Nobody is trading anything for Morris.

Incarcerated Bob has a pretty bad track record with "rumors".
SF needs to talk to NY about olivier vernon, he's still young at 27 and under contract thru 2020.

Saying Djax is on the trade block as well
I don't see why they don't try to make a play on vernon, Graham, or Fowler? I get the don't need a "quick fix" on a busted season BUT all of those guys would be in the plans past this yr regardless. Basically an early FA move.

yeah but he's severely overpaid. Still worth a phone call though, if they take Ward with them.

Now he does have familiarity with our DL coach Z who was there in NY in 2016.

Graham and Fowler are free agents after this season so I'd rather they wait on them. I think Graham would be a great addition and would be a leader for this team. I still want two edge rushers in FA and then drafting another early.

Edit - no chance Graham is moved this year with Barnett going on IR

I was just saying that yesterday. Bringing in a young player doesn't mean it's a quick-fix. It's simply adding another brick and one who you could lock up LT if he plays well.

Then you have to pay their premium in a bidding war.

Thank you. Just like when we paid to bring in Justin Smith. Same concept.

It goes both ways. You can trade draft picks for them and still lose them in free agency. This FO isn't afraid to spend big on players they want, so I'm not too worried about a bidding war.
I wish we would make some moves for more draft picks.
Honestly I think lynch will be extra aggressive this offseason. He knows the pressure is on and the roster turnover is complete, his competitive nature won't let him sit back and go through another season like this. Money is there, spend it.

True but usually you talk about a contract extension along with the trade itself. If it's doable, make the move. If not, it's not worth the draft pick.

On who though? The FA market this year looks poor compared to this last off season (regarding our team needs).
