Yup, drafted in the 6th rd last year. Never played well from what I can remember. Tried him at C last pre-season and it was a disaster. Watched him at G this year and he was overmatched. Not an NFL player imo.

Yeah, Silberman is easily expendable. Perhaps he comes back later to our PS? If not, no big deal.

Some teams like Green Bay are overloaded at receiver. Whoever they cut might be better than every receiver the 49ers have beyond Torrey and Patton.
