The San Francisco 49ers announced on Saturday that they have released the following nine players: Wide receiver DiAndre Campbell, running back Kendall Gaskins, defensive lineman Darren Lake, kicker John Lunsford, linebacker Wynton McManis, offensive lineman Blake Muir, offensive lineman Ian Silberman, wide receiver Jerome Simpson and cornerback Cleveland Wallace

Jerome Simpson is a bit of a surprise. He was having a good camp, from what it sounded like. Just can't hold onto the ball, I guess.

I hope Anderson makes it. Not a lot to look forward to at WR but I love his big play ability
