The defense kept us in alot of games last year. If they had any shred of Offense or coaching the record would have been better

or 7-9 with a promising young team; having the right building blocks to set up the future (i.e. Goff, Wentz, Jack in the draft along with a solid draft in general)

He took a 4-12 team and made them 10-6
his first year.
Doubt he comes close to that with how weak our OLine looks.

8-8 or 7-9 with a much improved offense and passing game would be a success imo. I really want to see the defense play more agressive than last year and the ability to convert in red zone and 3rd down improve significantly feom last year.

And given the struggles of that season, Jed being there is nothing to make a mountain out of. Would it bother you if you boss decided to observe a meeting between you and your employees?

This franchise only super bowl banners according to the owner. If that is the reason to fire a previous HC it should be SB banner or out for Kelly next year.

Considering Harbaugh exceeded expectations year 1.... In all fairness, Harbaughs 2011 team had MUCH more talent and veterans than this current 2016 roster. I think if Chip can go +2 or better (7-9), win at least 1 of 4 vs AZ/SEA, and get the offense to finish top 15 would be considered a step in the right direction. I'm very intrigued to see what Chip will do and I believe he was the right hire! Believe!!
