It made it worse seeing the Raiders doing well. But the awful season brought us Chip Kelly. So far, I'd say thank you Jed. But I'm still upset getting rid of coach Harbaugh. I need to see success before I get over that. For now thanks. How do you get over it?

Since when is going 7-9 "doing well?"

This.

Seriously, I don't get it. Everyone I've talked to says they supposedly had a "pretty good season." I disagree. A losing record and barely beating the Titans, Browns, Ravens and Chargers is not a pretty good season. Everyone expects the Raiders to be so good next season despite losing Woodson and I just don't see it. Actually walk the walk by making the playoffs and then I'll give them credit.

Areed. A losing record is not a "pretty good" season. People need to stop with this garbage. They have a poor defense and a QB that throws games away with 4th quarter INTs. They've had better records of 8-8 in the last decade and didn't get the praise they're getting now. Then, they followed those seasons up with more losing records. The raiders are perennial bottom dwellers and not much has changed other than the fact they can now establish a lead and blow it in the end rather than just getting blown out from the beginning.

When we went 8-8 in Harbaugh's last year, we sucked. But the raiders go 7-9 and they're "doing well." Unbelievable.

6th coach in 13 years since the dorks signed canned mooch.

I'm fine with the hire but with these baffoons you never know whats up and what is coming next. They better not find a way to do what they do best, muck things up.

They remind me of the teams we had with singleterry.

Loaded with talent, esp on D, and just needed a stellar coach to make it work.

Following the 49ers for years I was never angry watching them play, until this past year.

Jim Harbaugh should STILL be the coach of this team. I hate Jed York.

I agree, winning cures everything... Everyone can say whatever they want about him but wherever he goes. He wins. Show and prove. To those who point at the offense all the time as an excuse for his firing. He made sh!t into gold with some of those under achievers and flopped draft picks and still won with the team for 3 straight years. Ok look at offense before Harbaugh and after Harbaugh and compare those offensive numbers and where that coach led to hat team. if Harbaugh offense was so horrible.

I love this argument. s**tty offense. Maybe it was players not making plays?
It was horrible watching his s**tty offense destroy a team to become Citrus Bowl Champs. Yeah, so glad we got rid of that guy.

He deserves zero thanks IMO, he has yet to get the 49ers out of the mess he created.

Harbaugh isn't NFL material, once the big boys figured out his crappy offense, all that was left was his idiotic tirades, an incurable inability to get plays called in time, and some of the worst clock management I've ever seen. He belongs on the college sidelines where his tired act will play. I think he's a great college coach, but just a meh on the professional level.
For every mistake Jed makes, he seemed to made up for it. After Singletary, he went and got Harbaugh. After Tomsula, he went and got Kelly.

He has proved he can own up to a mistake and make a change, and do it quickly. His mistakes seemed to be wanting to give a couple of underdog coaches a chance.

Yeah his NFL resume of wins is horrible. Good call.

He left for Michigan before the resume could be tarnished. It wasn't going to be pretty going into 2015. He had a very good clue in 2014 with an 8-8 record. Tomsula got 14mil to be the fall guy.
