I need to see success before I get over that. For now thanks. How do you get over it?
Since when is going 7-9 "doing well?"
This.
Seriously, I don't get it. Everyone I've talked to says they supposedly had a "pretty good season." I disagree. A losing record and barely beating the Titans, Browns, Ravens and Chargers is not a pretty good season. Everyone expects the Raiders to be so good next season despite losing Woodson and I just don't see it. Actually walk the walk by making the playoffs and then I'll give them credit.
Areed. A losing record is not a "pretty good" season. People need to stop with this garbage. They have a poor defense and a QB that throws games away with 4th quarter INTs. They've had better records of 8-8 in the last decade and didn't get the praise they're getting now. Then, they followed those seasons up with more losing records. The raiders are perennial bottom dwellers and not much has changed other than the fact they can now establish a lead and blow it in the end rather than just getting blown out from the beginning.
When we went 8-8 in Harbaugh's last year, we sucked. But the raiders go 7-9 and they're "doing well." Unbelievable.
