just like Kaep, the league caught up to harbs

Just supposing one agrees with your premise re: Harbaugh, at least it took 4 yrs...Tomsula got lapped before he put in half a season.

I like to use Bill Cowher as an example whenever someone says "The league caught up to him and kap" and what not. Cowher was a winner for the most part. He definitely had down years during that long stretch as coach for the Steelers. Every year wasn't perfect. People were probably saying the league caught up to him and Kordell Stewart. Then Big Ben came along and he finally won a SB. Maybe the league caught up to kap, but Harbs would have moved on eventually and found his "Big Ben" i'm sure of it. He was a great coach. he had one down year (8-8 isn't horrible either) and he was kicked to the curb. It is so unheard of.

As someone said in this thread before, he was a catch and we may not win with the Yorks ever again. They're horrible. I hate Jerry Jones but I respect him. He at least cares and wants his Cowboys to win. When was the last time you saw Jed, John, or Denise York being shown on TV in their booths. They show Jerry every game. As a fan, that's what I want to see. A little passion from the owners and management goes a long way.
im starting to think its kaep with the way hes producing now and the fact roman is doing fairly well considering inferior talent on offense

IMO the issue was more Roman than Harbaugh.......... but in that sense harbaugh is just as accountable as the Head Coach (but i still don't agree with him being let go)
I certainly hope not....

It would be like 2009 when 7-9 won you the NFC Worst. No thanks.

Dont want to give the Dork's any more coverage for their failed attempt to "retool" this team. Even though I can't root for it, best case scenerio is to lose out the rest of the season, dump this coaching staff (all of them) and parlay our high draft pick into multiple picks of 1st and 2nd round impact players. Of course, I hope we show promise in every game and only lose close ones.

Let the tomato throwing commence.

That's just as plauseable as if Patrick Willis never retires , we win the SB this year

Cowboys are way better than us once Romo gets back and Lions are probably more talented too. There are a lot of bad AFC teams that will be competing with us for a top 5 pick though.

It took Cowhers twenty years to win a SB.

Great anology and way to point out the different approaches of two starkly different organiztions. Well at least after the Dorks took control.

Oh but keeping a coach till he hits the lotto sounds realistic...I wonder why any coach would get fired..that elite QB is just right around the corner

We are so bad that nfl.com refers the 9ers as a candidate for the "worst team in football", that is how sad it is.
