Does Jarryd Hayne make the team?

Yes. Very strong right field runner. Prefers right hand carry with left hand stiff-arm. But he's still a very good left field runner. NRL tends to have players working a side of the field which limits them a little. One of the other premier NRL fullbacks people have linked to -- Greg Inglis -- prefers to run right to left. That's why his former team, the Melboune Storm, kick deep to his left when they play him. Nullifies his attack. Hayne is a better athlete than most in the NRL and has no such problems.

Love the hit at the end. I don't want any player to get hurt so I'm glad the other player got back up, but man, that was a wallop.

Or just not good enough?

Not yet, when he starts getting comfortable in playing this game then watch the beast unleash...

I think defenses will catch on to this. I noticed when he runs left, he looks to still cut to his right. He did that in his first long run in the offense early in the preseason and does it almost all of the time on returns. His first move is always to his right. Let's see if defenses and coordinators begin to key in on this. If I were a gunner, I would aim for Hayne's right, miss or hit, and force him to make his first cut to his left. It will slow down his returns.
So how have the 49ers gone last few years????

All the haters saying he will get limited time or he not as good as players in postions. Just like like they said he be struggling to make the practice team or he will get destoryed after one game. Tell our new supporters again how many games the 49ers have won over the last few seasons??

Give Hayne the ball as he winner in every in thing he does in sports. You only have to visit every other forum for every team in the comp to see what they are saying and how much they as they all want him playing in thier teams. IF the 49ers cut Hayne he will be playing agaisnt you period. Stop being stuborn and enjoy the ride. Players like this only come around once in a life time. You will be talking about him years for years to come and lucky enough to be around to watch him play.

Looked like a train to me!

Ok, I got a solution to our little dilemma. When he smashes someone, he's the Hayne Train, when he's in the end zone, he's the Hayne Plane. Works for me!
