Do we need a new GM

Does every GM who doesn't win the Super Bowl within 4 years despite going to 3 straight NFC championship games and a play away from winning the superbowl deserve to be fired?

Reid is way better than Goldson, Goldson can't even keep his job in Tampa. So Ward is garbage because he couldn't cover Brandon Marshall, the same Wide receiver that gives CB problems not just Ward, I still don't know what Fangio was thinking leaving Ward 5'11" 1 on 1 Vs 6'4 or 6'5 Brandon Marshall without help. Jimmy wasn't all that bad coming from the Safety position to Cornerback, he had his good games and bad games just like any rookies. You gotta give a better explanation on why Reid is " Ok " and why Jimmy Ward "Suck" than that. There's no need for a new GM, Baalke drafted players that barely got any playing time last year and he knows how to stockpile picks.. Whether you agree with his draft picks or not.

What's funny is the book really hasn't been written on the 2013, 2014 and 2015 drafts. Lotta redshirt guys there. There is still a possibility these drafts are gonna look pretty nice. Then factor in we got 12 picks in '16 and 9 already in '17.

That is the team record during Baalke's term as GM. To say that only a HC can have a win/loss is semantics. And I note that you duck the issue of replacing him.

Try googling about the NFL draft. This thread merely shows how little some posters know about it and how ridiculous their expectations are. And, as has been said a great many times in the other Baalke thread, when Harbaugh and his coaches are that reluctant to give young players game experience it is difficult to assess the drafting.

Where did all of our defensive linemen come from? Also, lynch, Reid, culliver,...balked drafted quite a few impact players.

Not his fault Aldon decided to get arrested again, but of course they will tell you it's Baalke's fault. If Aldon was still here our front 7 would look scarier.

NO! Balke has stock piled a ton of talent for this team including the trades for Anquan & Free Agency pickups like Torrey Smith, Bethea, etc, I think he's one of the best out there.
