Do we need a new GM

If we suck this year(under 500), then yes.

I would also agree on a new owner, but unfortunately that will not happen.
44-19-1.

And I have yet to see a sensible suggestion as to who would replace him.
Can we bring back Scot McCloughan to replace him? If we can't then I say we wait and see what he has up his sleeve this year.

No, but we could use a bunch of new forum contributors.

Don't worry, there's more Aussies on the way!

Excellent, glad you are all here!

And Baalke can't be too bad, he brought Hayne on board.

What wr could we have taken early?

When I wrote early, I just meant instead of who he chose.

- Keenan Allen
- Jordan Matthews
- Donte Moncrief
- Jalen Strong/Tyler Lockett

A few more can't remember. None of these guys are projects. Instant action.

yeah no thanks, lol

I like this topic more than T Baalke.
So you want to replace Baalke with who? Who could do better than he has? Have you actually had a chance to see what his draftees can do yet? (Besides Jenkins)

I understand but still its hard to get excited about a guy (pause) trading for 4th 5th and 6th rd picks constantly.

Not every trade is going to bust a block. And my point remains: there is more to GMing than the draft. If your thread is meant to breakdown Baalke as a GM, and ask if he should be replaced, then provide your thoughts on his work in free agency, cap management, trades, and player relations. If the topic of the thread is to focus on drafts, title it as such.

It is incomplete to ask, "should Baalke be replaced?", and present an article that lists only his drafts. Based on the article you linked, I would just edit the thread title to "Is Baalke bad at drafting?"
There are worse GMs.

But yes, Baalke is a horrible when it comes to the NFL Draft. I just can't forgive him for the 2012 class. 2013 class not looking so hot either, except for Eric Reid. 2014 class looks like a mixed bag, but none of them have had a chance to truly prove themselves. If Lynch and at least one of the corners pan out, then this could end up being a decent class. But Jimmie Ward got pantsed by Marshall last season and generally looked like he did not measure up or belong in NFL. I don't know, Im gonna let up on the negativity to Baalke temporarily until I see how they play. I have no expectations this season for the team. If we win then Baalke will have regained my trust. If we face plant, then Baalke will be the target of my ire.
