The point is even guys who are considered great QBs or future great ones make mistakes. Though nobody bats an eye when those guys miss a receiver, turns the ball over frequently...etc.

So why is Kap's every single mistake blown up like all he makes are mistakes?

I've seen many poster's state that Kaepernick has had lots of time in the pocket in 2013 and in 2014. Yet he has been sacked an ungodly amount of times. So what these poster's are claiming is that he
holds on to the ball too long. Question is, does the time that is counted only reflect the time in the pocket and not the time after he flushes out of the pocket but stays behind the LOS?

Knowing this or ignoring this could and will skew ones perception.

I don't see them throwing 2 pick 6s in a row to start a game and proceed to throw more interceptions to put their team out of the game. Good QBs make their team better, Kap is reliant on a good team to make him look better.

In fact, didn't Kap actually break the record of the fastest back-to-back pick 6s in the history of football? That was how bad it was just to put things into perspective.

It was even worse than when Matt Schaub had a meltdown when they played us and even then he only had 3 INTs as compared to Kap's 4 INTs.

The other top QBs have proven that they have developed into top tier qb in the league. When they have a bad game or even a bad year they have bounced back and proven they are still top tier.

Kaep is still in the middle of his development. People will swing positive or negative either way on his play because he hasn't proven that he can be consistently good. So when he has a game like last week, you don't really know either way. It leaves the most positive supporters wondering if he can get to top tier, or at least even consistently good in the passing game.

This is Kaps only bad game this season so far, a very ugly one, but still one bad game. I have faith that he can rebound

Call it what it is....a horrible game by Kaep. He sets a new low. Two pick 6's in the first 2 drives of the game. A 3rd INT to go into the half, on a good drive up to that point. And an INT on the first play of the 3rd qtr coming out of the half.

I know he can do better because you can't play any worse than that....

And this is why fans were getting on Kap for working on his body and speed. The NFL coaches primary job is to make sure the player knows the system and can apply the system. Yes, there are some fundamental things that are worked on but for a player to be fundamentally sound, they need to work on that themselves under extra time. And that doesn't mean go to a clinic for a month and that's it. That means stay after practice for the entire year to reapply and regroups those fundamentals you just learned during that monthly session.

This is the first year Kap has worked on his fundamentals on his own during the offseason. He is trying to put 4 years of fundamentals into three games and the failure from that is showing. NBA players work on strengthening one or two moves or aspects of their game per year.

Too bad Kap wasn't practicing to master little pieces of fundamentals throughout the years.

Just think, Luck has the MOST turnovers since 2014 and he supposedly is a 'cant miss' prospect! He's been in the same offense for 7 and still turns it over consistently! Kaep has 14 ints in 18 games and its because of his mechanics. yet for SOME reason luck gets a pass from the fans / our fans.

If Luck gets a pass, it may be because he has thrown for 45 TDs and 5500 yards in the same time span. When a quarterback is that productive, his turnovers are a little bit easier to swallow. I'm a big fan of Colin's, but I'm also realistic enough to know that he can only dream of putting up numbers like that.

You guys want to know the difference between Luck and Kap. Luck won't miss a wide open WR because of his footwork and staring at the receiver for a second and THEN throwing. That is the big difference.

Yes, Luck is making bad decisions but they are based on trying to make a plays rather than missing plays that are there to be had. If Luck had the receivers open as did Kap in last game, he would connect with them more times than not.

This is the FIRST offseason where Kap focused on training to be a QB rather than an athlete. And honestly, his primary focus this offseason was on how to review film. This kid has a lot of work but his priorities prior to this have been out of sequence.

I'm actually excited that he is trying to be a pocket QB in the games by going through his progressions. I just wish he would also practice good body base fundys. The only way this kid is going to learn to be a pocket QB is to fail at it so he knows what to do next time. From our experience with Kap, he does do a decent job at trying to fix his mistakes.

This is year one of a 3 year project for Kap to polish his QB technique. Not what we all want to hear but if he can do it, then the sky isn't even the ceiling for this kid. He can rocket into space because of his other abilities.

If kap can read the defense when he can change called playbooks. He can.. he need learning the fast process and be smart to playing! He must experience to throw the target! I can explain to kap in person. How can I contact to kap pls? Just easy to throw and easy to read the defense.
