Every QB has weaknesses. Name a QB and I'll point you to his weaknesses. It's up to the coaching staff to develop a scheme and gameplan that best uses his skills. Last complete QB we had was Steve Young and even he had weaknesses earlier in this career.
Please list all the flaws Aaron Rodgers has. NFL.Com even has him listed above Colin Kaepernick in arm strength, so don't try to knock that, ha,ha.

How is it unreasonable to want a QB to learn basic fundamentals and mechanics? He was coached by a former QB.

It's unreasonable to compare his development path to Steve Young's. How many years did Steve sit on the bench before he was named a starter? Who were his coaches? Who were his teammates. The former QB that coached him did not want to change his mechanics.

How much are we paying Kap? I'm ready to draft a QB and play Gabbert until he's ready.

Aaron Rodgers sat for many years behind a HOF QB. He also had a top coaching staff for his entire career. I swear people here think a QB gets drafted and hits the ground running with 0 coaching, 0 development. Aaron did it all himself. Sure.

You can draft a QB and keep both Kaep and Gabbert. Is there a rule that says Kaep has to be traded? Or are you afraid that Chip will name Kaep the starter?

You said you would name his flaws, not explain how easy he has had it. You also said a few pages back you would stop posting. You won't back up your words with action, will you?

You brought up Steve Young for comparison, not me.

his flaws are similar to other (great) QB's flaws: he can get rattled with pressure and doesn't do well when his receivers dont have a physical advantage against man coverage. did you not watch the 2nd half of the year? teams just physically shut down the packers. rodgers accuracy suffered. his progressions suffered. he got happy feet. this isn't 100% a knock on rodgers, but this is a team game and he couldn't get it done. he didn't elevate his game enough to make them a true threat. once teams figured out how to attack the jordy-less packers (and funny enough that this really started in their game against the niners, even though we lost) erron was helpless to do much.

yes he still got them to the playoffs, because he is a great QB. but he is not without flaws.

Erm....did you watch him this year? Like every other QB, constant pressure really affected his play. Brady while great is imobile and the pass rush affected him all last week. Peyton's flaws will be exposed in the Super Bowl. Stop acting like the greats don't have flaws.
Gabby fans root for Gabby. Kap fans root for Kap.

But you gotta be pissing me if you don't think both Gabbert and Kap would excel with better coaching. And when I say better coaching, I mean even a pile of turd would get Jemarcus Russel playing better than the crap coaches we had in 2015.

Here's the deal: anyone who was not in Admin was set to fail in 2015. That is a fact.

Here's the other thing: both QB's have a lot of potential and both can do great things with this new system.

Let them battle. Kap can open up a world even Cam Newton can't hang in. Gabbert could possibly be a more athletic version of Tom Brady. Let's see who comes out on top.

All 9ers fan better hope we keep both for the sole purpose of having two of the top athletically gifted QB's in the league that no other team has. What do you guys think CAR would do with Kap? What do you guys think Belacheat would do with Gabbert?

Our biggest concern should be our defense because, trust me, Coach Kelly not GM Kelly will come through. Let's just hope our defense comes through.

Honestly, with Coach Kelly, we should have broke the bank on our defensive coordinator.
Locked until we hear something new.
