He was never a leader, just an athlete. Gore was always the heart on offense as of late, boldin was the next best thing.

Just realized the article is by manish mehta, who is a bit of a hack. I defended the daily news, but I wouldn't defend this hump if I realized before.

This is freaking hilarious Of course he wants to go to the Jets. He knows he cant carry a team, so he wants to go somewhere where they have a top 5 defense who can carry him..
Not to add, he wants to go somewhere, where someone like Fitzpatrick was able to look great this season who has been an on and off starter/backup his entire career.
Right on kaepernick, keep trying to use Great defenses to keep your career going, Thats what i would do if i sucked like you, so i commend you for that.

Not buying it, the timing alone makes no sense. If he wants out he doesn't wait to have surgeries and put his potential to get released in jeopardy by not being healthy in time for his deal to guarantee. He would have got worked on Immediately so he would be ready to go and look for his new team.
