Million dollar question

How does he fix his mind?

Not sure, but we have the coach who everyone outside this forum thinks fits his style. It would be stupid imo to just throw him away and not see if theres something there, when we have all that cap space and can trade him or cut him after the season if it doesn't work.

That's all I'm saying! Chip has took lemons and made lemonade with just about every QB he's been around. We all know Kap isn't a pro-bowl QB and might not be the long-term answer, but he might be the best answer for this up coming season.....if it blows up in Kap's face then we know we can move on no strings attached..and we can actually focus on getting a QB in the draft when there are actually good QBs available.

My question is does Chips system mask the deficiencies of his QB? With all the sign holding hand waving crap, will it be fools gold? Are we going to be able to tell if Kap has the light bulb on?

If he puts points on the board that's all that matters to me...I don't need him to throw for 4,000+ yards as long as they win games.

It's laughable when ppl try to use Kap's career stats against Cam without taking this into context.

Cam went to a 2-14 team with the worst offense in the league.

Yeah and SF had a powerhouse of offensive play makers lol. When Kap got drafted SF was 26th in points

What year was that?

well 2010 they were ranked 24th and then in 2011 (when he was drafted) they were ranked 26th, so it's not like they were some offensive powerhouse when Kap took over lol.
Carson Palmer has an abysmal playoff record and as was responsible for all 6 of his teams turnovers yesterday in a blowout playoff loss. Will there be any calls for him to be traded or benched?

I'm not holding my breath.

Another Kap fan getting excited when a top QB has a bad game. Please explain why Carson Palmer is relative to a discussion on Colin Kaepernick.

lol Carson at 36? Yeah, he's done. Another Steve Deberg just good enough for you to lose. Cards will be stupid to not look for anther qb next year.

In 2011 they were ranked 11th with 23.8 pts/gm. In 2012 they were also ranked 11th with 24.8. In Kaep's first full year as a starter (2013)they were again ranked 11th with 25.4 pts/gm.

The year before Cam was drafted Carolina was dead last in pts/gm with 12.2. His rookie season they jumped to 5th in the league with 25.4.

Right now Kaep has physical talent like Cam Newton, but the all important mental ability and confidence of Mark Sanchez.

Exactly Palmer doesn't have long in AZ or the NFL and Kap has even less time left with the 49ers.

NO ONE cares about Kap's past success (with Harb) anymore, not even Kelly, Baalke or York, his bosses if he was to stay a 49ers in 2016. It's about what he can do for the team or any other NFL team now and in the future

I know a lot of people in here have biased love for Kap. I get it, he's still a Niner for now and that's fine. But to even try and compare him to Cam AT THIS POINT is laughable and depressing. It would be a dream come true if Kap figured it out like Cam. Cam has progressively improved. He's an easy MVP pick and better than I ever thought he would be. I thought Kap would be close to where Cam is. We can make up excuses for Kap, but truly they don't matter. Cam doesn't have good WRs. A good TE, but no WRs.

They went opposite directions. I have to admit, I get jealous when I see Cam tearing it up. But, at the end of the day, can't hate. Good for Cam.

Lol i love Cam. I already offered 2 grand to anyone that can quote me saying Kap is better. Someone was saying Kap has TERRIBLE accuracy but Cam stands tall and delivers the ball. I brought up the percentages because he was acting like Kap couldn't hit the side of a house, not because i think Kaps better.
