Well the difference is that Cam didn't basically tell his team's fans to f-off. Kap did it the minute he became famous. I didn't give a crap about the cap, but I did take notice of his entitled attitude. I knew that as long as he was producing people were willing to overlook his b******t, but if he ever struggled, people would remember the attitude. There's more to the QB job then just staying in shape and working out in practice.

His entitled attitude? There is nothing entitled about that tweet. He spoke the truth. He can wear what he wants. Fans just need to stop b***hing.

Yeah your definitly missing the point. Its not even the first sentence thats the worst, the 2nd sentence saying all we need to worry about as fans is he grinds for his teamates and the 49ers.

Like if he said the first sentence and then the second sentence was, "all you guys need to worry about is the fact that im grinding for you guys and the 49ers every day", It would sound alot better, and no one would probably care.

But he really is pretty much telling the fans F*ck you when you combine both sentences. Read it all together, is he saying anything nice to the fans or is he dissing them? All i see is him saying hes gonnna do whatever he wants regardless of what we think, and hes grinding for the 49ers and his teamates and not us. As a fan thats a little annoying.

What makes me laugh about this benching is that prior to benching Kap most media outlets would recommend benching him and now that the team did it you now read or hear some say it's a bad idea, wtf? Lmao

Don't care personally. He's not getting it done here, looks completely lost, hasn't improved in 4 years in the league. SO yeah, I doubt he finds a team that can make use of him. Personally I think he'd be a great backup QB.

Kaeps a fastball pitcher. Physically impossible for him to finesse the ball like old man montana.
Unfortunately, Hes a fire hose arm like jeff george, and not elway or favre.
Personally I hope that Kap uses these two weeks ( now and the bye) to get his head straight, he's problems are more mental that physical, he overthinks. If he gets loose again in his head, it could click for him and he could make a big step.

This will never be said of QBs like Brady, Manning, Rodgers and even Wilson......

If it hasn't happened by now, it's not going to.

You can't "teach" a QB to understand that when a WR is completely uncovered, you need to throw him the ball. That's the kind of thing even 5th graders understand.

It's just time to move on from Kap and find the QB that can hopefully be a franchise QB for us.

I support this message.

He had some nice touches on the boldin throws a couple games ago...he's issue is zone D and throwing players open, no anticipation.

Disagree on putting Wilson in that group of names...dude just scrambles around until a wr can get open. You don't see him slicing up secondaries in the pocket like Brady, manning, or Rogers.

I don't care if you have revis out there no one can cover a wr for 8 secs... wilson's scrambling ability is what makes him dangerous not his passing ability.

Panthers must have dropped a half dozen passes this week. The volume is only close because Newton has played in one fewer game so far. Kaepernick also has horrible pocket presence and takes sacks where Newton would not (Newton escaped the pass rush on a couple plays last night where any other QB in the league goes down). 2 of Kaepernick's 6 TD's on the season and ~200 yards including a 75 yard TD pass to Torrey Smith came in garbage time against the Steelers down 29-3 heading into the fourth quarter. Take out those empty stats and his QB rating goes way down. The offense is completely ineffective with Kaepernick right now. It will probably still be ineffective with Gabbert, but it's worth a shot. The Panthers are putting up a lot of points with Newton and his supporting cast was just as bad before we got rid of Vernon Davis (his receivers are awful - Ginn can't catch, but still his best WR and their offensive line is bad). Newton still shouldn't be an MVP candidate, but he's a good QB.

It's so sad how people can make excuses for other QBs and thrash this one. Go look at Cam's career numbers. He is actually "regressing". He has played one fewer game and has more picks. Is Cam playing better now? Yes. But it's funny how one QB is MVP and the other is the worst QB in the league when their numbers are identical this year and Career numbers, Kaep's are better, not to mention better in the playoffs. Come make excuses about Luck now who "in garbage time" made the game look respectable the other night. I didn't even touch on the OC(his OC is going to get a HC job while ours hasn't been an OC for 15 years), HC, ownership.

This whole thing has to do with 9er fans wanting to win their way. Thinking they're going to find a Joe or Steve who can develop themselves in the face of terrible coaching and management. Kaep is just the latest QB. Kaep's not the last QB to go through this. There will be many others.

Kaep needs a coach who has experience in grooming young qbs .. tomsula and geep don't have any of these credentials. Harbaugh was somewhat a qb guru worked for awhile but was to stubborn I guess to make changes here and there... IF and that's a big IF they keep kaep next season we need a solid group of offensive minded coaches. I have a sense with some key acquisition on the oline kaep can go back to the player he was when he was threatening teams with his legs and his arm

One just got benched, and the other is a supposed MVP candidate....
let that sink in

The average time the the 49ers offensive line held the pocket this year is 2.5 seconds. Worst in the league. Only 3 QBs in the league hold the ball before throwing in that time period. Eli Manning, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning.

Dead last in run blocking http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/ol

It's amazing to me how hard people try to blame this whole thing on Kaep. I'll keep posting actual data to back up what I say while others pull stuff out of thin air.

Cam has played one less game and he has 5 more tds and 5 more wins... Cmon man. Wins matter. If Kap was 7-0 and had those 6 tds/5ints there would be WAY less complaining and he'd still be our qb. Kaps done. He's garbage.
