Both of you are right.... however if your looking at our o line we will be tested on game 1. If we have Brock healthy I'll be stoked. I'm also surprised we have not done anything to help the interior line and center positions. Puni hopefully will be better this year after last years injury issues. But look out on the interior left side. Brunskill seemed to have Donald's number but he's just waiting out there for us to sign lol.

im not saying the offense is a powerhouse but we needed some serious speed and outside threats. I think the OL will be pretty good this year it will look far better with better WRs, Puni being healthy this year is a huge plus he started out rough last year at the beginning.

I agree, I think the line is good enough to get into the playoffs. I especially like some of the late round 2026 OLine picks. I think they look promising. Trent Williams not retiring saves us a day one pick that they used for Stribling and Height. If Cruz turns out to be Colton Mckivitz 2.0 in year 2 or 3, thats a draft home run in my book.

They still have Conner Colby who did a ok job as a rookie at the left guard position in 2025, and added Carver Willis. I think both are promising players. Yes Colby too a step back, and Carver has been injured, but to me they have a good upside. Both aren't high round picks, but neither was Purdy or Jauan Jennings. I think they should be given a chance to show their talent.

I'm actually more concerned with the defense more than any of the offensive positons.

Seattle doesn't have an elite OL and just won a SB. How elite is the Rams OL?

SF should be investing in the OL every year with meaningful picks and capital…they don't have to burn top 50 picks on the OL every yr for them to be successful.

Rated 8th in 25' based on the numbers. I wouldn't say they're elite though. Right guard is still an issue in pass pro but their o line has a lot of continuity which is what you want in a unit as a whole

Seriously, I guess we are defending getting pressured in the most important games causing it to kill drives and a major contributing factor to losing games, especially in the playoffs. Brock would have more time in the pocket and our offense would be so much more dynamic. How we couldn't get a guard like Zeitler or trade a 2nd or 3rd for a great guard like teams have done (Bears got 3 new IOL and Williams looks better) is beyond me.

for real, are people on here suffering from amnesia or something? Did they forget the beatdown Purdy took in those Seattle games? Why should we expect things to be any different this season when 4/5 same OL with possibly a worse left guard than Spencer Burford? It's like people conveniently forgot all of this happened:

Yeah wasn't s**tting on Seattle's OL….basically stating you don't need an elite OL to win it all. Ya'll got two good young OTs. Good young LG and below avg center/RG. Play calling and staying ahead of the chains with an elite level D helps a ton.

Who's defending anything? Also Seattle buttf**ked every team's interior OL last yr, not just SF.

I'm old enough to remember when Brunskill stuff Donald all the time.

I like Willis, 4th rd pick for a guard isn't nothing. I would like him more as a backup yr 1 with an older version like Zeitler holding it down for a yr.

I expect there to be some better pass catchers in there and our D to be a little better. Maybe not play behind the chains and forcing 2nd and 3rd and longs all game…I like all 3 of our RBs this yr as well.

Healthy Puni is a positive. The LG is a real ?? Thought they would go get an older meaningful vet at the very least. Wyatt Teller would have made some sense.

The Philly game also happened where they actually blocked a top d line.
