I bet the feud probably started when jed was trying to extend Jim. Jed probably low balled him in the classic York way, it it probably resulted in Jim saying hey f**k you and your bald spot. He probably said I'm the man that fixed this mess of an organization and I'm the reason you got that stadium, he probably said I'm the one that started this gangsta s**t and this is mutha f**king thanks I get.

That's a safe bet.

He is ultimately responsible for whatever happens with this team. He bears responsibility for the leaks, the rumors of a rift, losing Fangio, losing Gore etc but he also deserves credit for the good that happened over the past four years.

losing fangio was not a negative to me,, in terms of gore, four million for one year for a 32 year old made sense

My point was that it is fair for fans to blame Jed for what they see as mistakes made by the team.
The defense performed well under Fangio, I am hopeful that continues under Mangini.
If they didn't have the cap room to compete and sign Gore the move makes sense.

The NFL perhaps. But the Yorks are not that rich. Most millionaire/billionaires don't have $1.2 Billion sitting in the bank to finance something. Their wealth is not liquid, but held in assets that can't just be sold off at cost on a whim. Even getting the massive loans the Yorks received for Levis was extremely risky for them and the banks, which if it went wrong could have resulted in financial ruin for them.

There's a vast difference between wealth and cash on hand.

What could have gone wrong for the banks? The NFL prints money. Nobody loses money on an NFL franchise these days. Does this mean that the small town of Santa Clara took an extreme risk when they borrowed $330 million for the stadium?

Rode the best coach this team has had since Walsh to get a billion dollar stadium built. Then once he lined his pockets with endorsement money and fan's hard earned cash, he got intimidated by a guy who wasn't going to bow down to a spineless, empty-headed, know-nothing kid. So he booted him and completely destroyed a championship caliber roster and culture. But he expects the fans to have faith that this is the right path.

JH isn't the cancer. And if you think the offense was s**t with him, see the overall product next year and then come see me with this same sentiment.

While Jed does deserve credit for getting a new stadium, fact is it seems like he used the Harbaugh signing to help get people excited about the stadium. And when everyone and everything was fine he canned Harbs, which he knew he was gonna do all along IMO. Yes Jed loves the 49ers, but he is a terrible owner, he is in the bottom 5 in the NFL IMO.

He isn't that much better than his idiot Father. He has hired 2 coaches to be HC that had little to no major experience.

When Jed York talks, it makes my ears bleed.

He seems to lack a brain-to-mouth speech filter, seems to have a vague conception of what football is and generally makes very general statements. It's like he's reading talking points off of a cue card.

His seeming lack of knowledge as it pertains to football specifics is insulting. That's why I dislike him.

He's the kind of owner that should be seen and not heard.

No use in talking to him, he always blasts anyone who goes after Jed and his hand picked HC/Staff. I would say some stuff but I guess calling him a troll is a warnable offense, which is complete b******t IMO, have seen worse things go by without a warning.

And news flash, Harbs wasn't the cancer, Jed is. He has used fans, and gotten a s**tload of money due to our loyalty to this crappy organization. We are heading towards 5-10 years of finishing in the bottom of the NFC West, and NFC as a whole. I have zero faith in Jed, Baalke, or the hand picked staff of misfits, and unwanted coaches. We went from top 5 staff to bottom 5 staff, but people continue to suck off Jed because he is the Owner, and we should respect him, well f**k that piece of s**t, he and his damn family have ruined the 49ers for me. Done with this bs of an ownership. Can't wait to see what happens if we do finish last in the west, go like 4-12, pick top 5, will he have the balls to can Baalke and Tomsula?
