The previous season? Yeah. He was actually interim HC when they made him the offer to be full time HC.

Just look at their demeanor and play, no way they had anymore faith left in their coach. His sh*t got old very fast. Harbaugh didn't fix anything. Instead, management got them Boldin on an awesome deal, Stevie Johnson, drafted Hyde and still had Crabtree and VD, and yet, Harbaugh in all his greatness and glory, couldn't muster a goddam thing with this team. If you're a play-off caliber team who's standard is to make the play-offs every year, this kind of sh*t is not tolerable. Maybe for the Jags, not the Niners. Not for York and Baalke. Harbaugh was Carroll's b***h, and you're not going to win any division titles, let alone national titles, when you're in the front pocket of your rival team's coaching staff.
This is somewhat understandable.
But getting rid of the rest of the staff and replacjng them with position coaches that were already here (FRESH BLOOD?) is where most people tAke issue.
maybe during the interview process, they convinced Baalke of the correct changes that needed to be done to be successful. maybe the previous HC was too stubborn to implement some of those ideas. you realize these previous other position coaches have first hand experience with these players. that's a good thing.

And what happened to the york thread? Wanted to make fun of all this winning with class BS today and had to bury it deep down for later.

I'd agree with that. Jed told people to hold him accountable and folks are obliging him.

Yeah I have no idea why that thread was deleted. I really don't see how any rational person can defend this owner's actions.

I don't get this either. Lock it up for a little while and delete posts per moderator standards? Sure. But removing threads entirely is such a weird practice on this forum. Literally no other forum I've ever been a part of deletes large threads like this when things get out of hand. I don't like seeing my good posts in that thread just disappear into the ether.

I don't see how people blame last season for Jim's downfall when Jed already had it figured out before the season even started.
So don't give me "oh... 8-8 and a crap offense in the 4th quarter is why he is gone" Whether we had gone 1-15 or 15-1 Jed's mind was made up, this year was a wash.
Jim was gone before opening day, everyone knew it, Jed knew he was going to suck it up, so by leaking his intentions he prepared us for the inevitable, Jim Harbaugh quitting on his team, his players, and us as fans, because if Harbaugh has shown anything, it's that he is a quitter.
Jed read that guy like an open book. You have to be astounded by the young mans intuitiveness and foresight. These qualities are sure to lead the 49ers into a new era.

I bet the feud probably started when jed was trying to extend Jim. Jed probably low balled him in the classic York way, it it probably resulted in Jim saying hey f**k you and your bald spot. He probably said I'm the man that fixed this mess of an organization and I'm the reason you got that stadium, he probably said I'm the one that started this gangsta s**t and this is mutha f**king thanks I get.
