I'd agree with that. Jed told people to hold him accountable and folks are obliging him.

When talking about Jed, I must whip it.

I agree. He's gets more blame than he should that much is true. I believe he does love the Niners and is trying to do what is necessary.

But right or wrong he moved the team out of SF and that will piss people off. Ticket prices get raised. He axed Harbaugh who many fans loved.

He just keeps talking as if everything is going to be bright and rosy, "win with class", "you'll be proud of the new Niners" "Stadium will be state of the art"

As a fan I would rather him just be honest or not talk that much. Just say it's been a rough offseason or that the stadium has had some hiccups, etc...

Perception of him will not change until we win a SB...

I'm of the opinion that we should wait and see, it may all work out for the best. Others obviously don't want to wait for anything and given appearances, even though I might disagree, I can understand their displeasure with Jed York. The situation may not look good now, but it might look golden a year from now.

Yes they did, plastic ones, and on a side note McDonalds came out with some HappyMeal New Wave Guys at the time that had the same hat, so Devo sued them.

jackleg, the fine people of SFO had every opportunity to vote on huge bond issues, and passed on them each and every time. In fact, San Franciscans as a group, did little or nothing to keep the team in SFO. The fact Candlestick was still standing is amazing, and moreso, that jed got a $1.2 B stadium financed. That is a phenomenal feat. Remember, he could have taken the franchise to LA or someplace else. So Jed did keep the team here, and we should never forget that. Remember that the SF 49ers are still in the Bay area, and that is good enough for me. We all owe jed a debt of gratitude, altho there are a number of folks who just gloss over that feat. And, he is one helluva lot better owner than his dad, the good doctor yoooooork.

Arghhh , I just remembered him and Ulbrich getting run around in circles. Makes me appreciate how Willis and now Bowman have set the standard so high.
