Rode the best coach this team has had since Walsh to get a billion dollar stadium built. Then once he lined his pockets with endorsement money and fan's hard earned cash, he got intimidated by a guy who wasn't going to bow down to a spineless, empty-headed, know-nothing kid. So he booted him and completely destroyed a championship caliber roster and culture. But he expects the fans to have faith that this is the right path.

JH isn't the cancer. And if you think the offense was s**t with him, see the overall product next year and then come see me with this same sentiment.

we lose jh and we are now condemned to ten years of being in the basement. wow some of you really buy into the former coaches messiah complex he fashions for himself. oh here is a news flash,, just because you wish and hope we go 4-12 does not make it so. it is stunning to think some people will actually be upset if we have a good year and get into the playoffs. your hate clouds your objectivity in my opinion.

The new regime needs an early message that things are going to be different in a good way. An "on field" message, namely. NFL preseason has become a joke but this is our most important preseason in recent memory imo. Big time player evaluations, play clock issues, new offense unveiling to name a few.

at least they got started by making one locker room for all, the two locker room b******t was inexcusable and set the stage for a divided house in my opinion last year. kind of funny how we, or at least some of us,, are kind of excited about the april team sessions. to me it is super exciting the changes we could see this year. after the 8-8 fiasco of last year and the dark cloud that seemed to be over us all last year,, its a fresh start for all. i also bet that these coaches will take note from previous years and not bust up the guys in pre season and practice and not make them go all the way to baltimore for some stupid scrimmage,,,,,, you do not think some of the vets started to rethink wearing the jh blue work shirts right about then??

There were reasons why all those things were done. And whatever the reasoning, it worked. We were kicking butt and taking names. Players don't decide what's best for the team. Of course a lot of players would rather stay on the west coast. There is a reason why employees don't call the shots. People tend to do what benefits themselves, not the unit.

I would consider players' thoughts, but in the end its about doing what will help win.

We didn't go 8-8 because of a locker room.

We went 8-8 because, like you said, we had a dark cloud hanging over us from the start, a rash of injuries to the O-line, a poo poo passing game and defense plus sub par special teams. It was actually surprising we went 8-8 in the league's hardest toughest division.

I'm excited for the draft and to see how the new crew runs practices.

Any mention if whether there will be more media access or we still going north korean netscape status as far as media?

Lots of crappy teams with new coaches go all out in preseason preparing for an opponent to get the hype up.
Better coaches use that time to install game plans for the upcoming games.

They get to regular season and play a team that has been preparing them for them for four weeks and, well, you know.
