It doesn't matter anymore. No hot candidates would want to work for a no-name NFL Europe coach. We are just going to end up with someone from the bottom of the pile.

My guess is it will be 4-3 coach, if we were staying 3-4 we would have to keep Fangio.

the lack of faith is stunning and is a real slap in the face to our players,, there should be alot of very good people who would love to get their hands on our players, both the vets and the kids we have.

Apparently they must because that seems to be the way they are going. A 4-3 with a pound the ball running attack. So it seems like the front office wants to get even more conservative than Harbaugh was.
If they are going 4-3, they could do far worse than having Jim Schwartz come and install it but its going to be someone like Tarver or a guy with even less of a track record.

I don't get it...why didn't they just promote DC from within too...maybe the DB coach?? WTF they cleaned house like we just went 3-13....

Yes, they can play a 4-3
DL- A Smith, Dorsey/tank, J Smith/williams, Lynch
LB- Bowman, Borland, Willis
I can not see why it would not work, most nfl teams are in nickle anyway. They play a 4-2 nickle with the same DL and you could take off borland and add ward or whomever. Would also keep all of your LBs on the field.
