I agree. The defense has been the anchor and responsible for probably 80% of the success this team has had. The offense has essentially been there to eat up clock, move down the field a little bit, and not turn the ball over.

you realize, Fangio had bad ranked defenses when he wasn't coaching here.

Tarver's 1st season 2012 took them from (29th) to 18th in 1 year. And thats with a bad defense. Thats before Mack, Tuck, etc...

He's also coached a top 5 defense with 3 of the 4 teams he's been D-coordinator with.

Yeah, Donatell is a huge loss too. Dude took no names that were almost out of the league like Brock and Cox and made them borderline pro-bowlers.

I thought the defense would remain constant with the biggest change being Fangio leaving and Donatell being promoted. "Retool" lol. When there's this much coaching turnover, this is a rebuild. I can't imagine the uncertainty that's swirling around in the heads of Willis, Bow, Bethea, Reid, etc.

All new coaches, all new schemes, all new playbooks and terminology, all new techniques, assignments, different kinds of training/diet, etc. This effing SUCKS!

When they let Harbaugh go I though it was because of the OC Roman...but now they just blew up the team like we are the ones holding the first pick in the draft...
