What is Ellington rehabbing, and WTF is Boone's dumbass thinking, missing more off season work? Ward and Davis aught to be there, too. Boldin will ball anyway, so I'm not too concerned w/him.

It's voluntary but...new coaches, new systems and less than stellar play last year...

We should dump Boone and get a new swing tackle (if Pears isn't the guy). MM just said Boone won't attend any voluntary activities. Can't dump this turd soon enough.

Totally. I think I'm just more impressed with the fact that this GLARING issue is now known and publicly talked about!

Yeah not thrilled that the following are not there...we are installing new systems and terminology (at least on defense) and have new position coaches: Absent at #49ers minicamp: A.Davis, Boone, Boldin, Miller, Kilgore and Ellington rehabbing plus Ward, Lynch, J.Smith, Dorsey and Dockett.

Even rehabbing is no excuse (we have the best facilities in Santa Clara). Get in there with your new teammates, coaches, start learning the playbooks and terminology, scheme, etc. No excuses IMHO.

IIRC, Ellington is on site rehabbing (though I'm not sure what he's rehabbing).

The thing with Davis is he has weight requirement clauses in his deal, not sure the weight range, but that may be a factor, if he comes in overweight, they can reduce his base salary.

Thanks...if he's there I'm not concerned. Good for him to look the new coaches in the eyes and hear what expectations there will be. He may be fighting a rookie for playing time this year.
