OK, just got home. I watched the game all the way until we were all tied up and then I had to go out as I am on a different time zone here.

Am I surprised with the score ? Guess not. LOL.

Once again is the same ole sh*t. I guess after that 90-yard rushing TD Kap must have thought he had done enough when in fact he only made it up to his fxxking stupid fumble TD. After that it was just 3 and out after 3 and out with 0 offense.

In this game, the entire offense was generated by Frank. That passing TD in the red zone was a joke, I guess Kap must have taken about 5 million downs to finally punch it through, just as well the Chargers committed so many penalties.

This has to be one of the most embarrassing losses added to the mounting collection of sh*te games. Is just fxxking shameful, there is just no other way to put it.

Sure, the D couldn't make a stop, but the fxxking offense stunk up the joint yet again.

The news is out folks, Frank Gore is still the ONLY playmaker in this offense, you stack the box to shut down Frank and any minimal designed QB runs, you are golden. Just force Kap to beat you by throwing the ball, you win 99.99999% of the time cos he is a sh*te QB, plain and simple !!

He's just searching for an explanation as to why the offense went off a cliff. As soon as I saw them running Gore into a loaded box when it was obvious that the Chargers had adjusted what they were doing, I felt like they were going to lose, I was hoping they wouldn't, but this was the same lack of adjustment, lack of adaptation that I've been seeing for awhile now and sure enough, this team managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory yet again.

Its hard for me to put all the blame on Kaepernick when he keeps getting f**ked over by this offensive system. Chargers loaded up the box, they kept running Gore into it.....and boom, now you're at 2nd and long and then 3rd and long and you put the QB in a terrible position. Combined with the potato playcalling(predictable QB sweep on 3rd down that wasn't going anywhere), some bad turnovers and its not a shock that they lost.

And It's been happening all season long. The fact it's taken so long for people to realize it after seeing the same script play out over and over again is mind boggling. It's like groundhog day in here. The players don't just rapidly decline in the 2nd half of ballgames. It's the coaches duty to gameplan, and that includes mid-game adjustments to stay a step ahead of the opponent.

He was good for those points? I thought it was the fact that Frank was gaining almost 10 yards a run in the first half. That was before the Chargers woke up and could stack the box like everyone else...hence the 7-8 record.

28 points is 28 points and Kap had just as many rushing yards as Frank. But I acknowledge Kap needs work. This offense as a whole

Pill, I go to sleep at night praying that Kaep will find it. I thought last year that he would take a giant leap...didn't happen. I thought this year was it but to me it seems he's regressed. People blaming the coaches the Defense, everyone except the guy that has been given all the weapons any QB would need. He's got Frank, Anquan, Crabtree, VD, throw in a little Stevie johnson and Brandon lloyd for good measure. Why can't he find them? Is it the oline? The protection looked good tonight, why couldn't he hit anyone? The mobility is supposed to give time to the receivers to create separation...what's been the problem all year?
Just who the hell are you listening to? Go listen to KNBR and the Better Rival guys. To hear them say it it's all Kaps fault all day. Most fans comments I've read on here have been anti-Kaep, and blame Kaep to no end. You must be one of those fans who think that scheme is just incidental to wins and losses. JH and Roman changed the scheme from game one of this season to a scheme that never fit Kaep's nor the O-line's skill-set. In fact this scheme exposes the weaknesses of both. A team with all kinds of offensive weapons cannot be ranked 28th in the league without the scheme being a serious culprit.

All year JH & Roman refused to coach to the team's strength, except for the first half of this game. We have a WR corp that has problems getting open, yet JH & Roman call plays that call for the WR's to get open. Kaep clearly has issues with playing from the pocket, but JH &Roman call 5 & 7 step drop plays. Pass blocking has always been a weakness for our O-line, yet the cheme and plays called that exposes that weakness time and time again. But it's all Kaeps fault.

Now, if Kaep's not the guy then I question why he was drafted in the first place. If they wanted a pocket passer they should have drafted one. So in that case I still blame the coaches because all of the flaws that many fans and commentators love pointing out are the very same flaws that every scout had on him coming out of Nevada. But then they tried to change him into something he clearly isn't AFTER having major success in a scheme in which Kaep was comfortable. For me that is a glaring coaching mistake that the QB cannot control.

I don't care if you like me blaming Kaep or not. He was drafted because we needed a new QB and andy dalton and blaine gabbert were already taken

Keep blaming the scheme, maybe next year we'll have a coach that lets him run around like mike vick or geno smith, maybe then I won't have to watch him for much longer.
Andy Dalton and Blaine Gabbert? Dear lord

Well Vick nor Geno didn't get to 3 straight NFC title games and a SB doing what he does. And if the QB that we needed for JH and Roman to run the scheme that they ultimately wanted to run then they shouldn't have taken him in the first place. Why draft a guy that can't run your system? Oh, that's right, we needed a QB. So I disagree with you, and I don't expect you to agree with me. Because from where I sit it seemed to me that JH & Roman were pretty schizophrenic with scheme and playcalling all season. But I don't expect you to see that. All you see is the man driving the car. You don't see the guys who built the car in the first place and giving directions to the driver.

So in your scenerio Kaep is driving the car. And Harbaugh and Roman are the builders and GPS. This is the same car that drove us to the NFC championship game. And in the offseason this car got major upgrades at WR/cold air intake, and back up RB/wheels. So at what point do you stop blaming the builder and GPS for the car being driven s**tty? At what point do you just say, well the driver was bad?...

It's not all Kaeps fault, but when you look at me and tell me he hasn't scored a TD in the 4th quarter or OT all season, yet everyone else has... Even the back up... You can't tell me he's blame less

I tell you, is more than just cold air intake and wheels, they bolted on a turbo as well as a supercharger. But, hey when you have a sh*te driver, it just about offsets everything else. LOL.

There's way too much talent on this offense for the results to be this bad. I don't think anyone on this offense is as bad as they've looked this season, that goes for the QB and on down. No team in the NFL has done less with more on offense than the 49ers have.

Does he or does he not have 2 plays to chose from? I keep hearing this from some people. And don't many QB's audible at the line when they see a stacked box?

Were there no passing plays called in the second half? Hell, does this game even matter?

The games that mattered? The Bears, Rams, Seahawks and Raiders. The 4 games where Kap had 11 turnovers and 3 TD's with a combined QBR of about 60. That's when our season ended. Long before tonight's game.

And we only have one more game to s**t on Harbaugh, so we better get it all in, as much as we can, and prepare the excuses for next season. Because the likelihood of Kaepernick all of the sudden learning to be a better QB in a more complex system is nil.

In 2011 and 2012 Gore was ran into a stacked box more than 90% of the backs in the NFL.

And out QB can't take advantage of man coverage or underneath zone, especially when pressure is applied. And has no friggin touch in the short game or anticipation/ball placement so he has to wait for guys to get open or just gins in mid range passes. Then if he doesn't see it (and he misses open men A LOT) he takes his eyes off the field and looks to run.

Our QB needs QB school this offseason. Everyone knows it.

It continued in 2012 then they stopped in 2013 for the first few games and the Niners had a meltdown. Then, if we don't run Gore no matter what, especially with a lead, people piss and moan about not running Gore. When the game is put in Kaps hands and he comes up short.

"Stop trying to turn Kap into a passer....we're a power run offense". Yadda yadda.

That only accounts for half of the 2011 season, but fair enough. Our offense became more balanced after that, particularly in 2012.

I really don't have a problem with running into a stacked box if it works and we win. I thought we caught SD off guard running power like that to start the game. We hadn't been that committed to it all season. 2nd half they adjusted, loaded the box, and used run blitzes that also worked to blow up potential play-action fakes. We didn't have a counter for it.

So many here are asking why Kap hasn't progressed. He's still the same QB that helped take us to the SB. The only difference is that defenses have found his weakness and taken away his strength. The Redskins, Seahawks, Rams and every team we've played play the exact same defense, stuff the box and make him a pocket passer. Every game is like a carbon copy with Kap trying to avoid the rush and being sacked.

He is a thrower not a passer. Watch how Rivers led his receivers and threw the ball before the break. These skills can't be taught, and I have to agree with one of the comments made on the Zone that Kap is similar Vince Young.
