For last several years the corner position has been the weak link and it will continue. The idea that wright is a solid number 3 is false and brock is not a true number 1. When we play teams that put 3 and 4 wr's on the field, we will get killed. I hope we can add at least one more good corner and draft another one but at this point staying pat is not a good idea.

I think for a team as talented as the Niners and with so many contracts coming up that is the wrong question to ask. Are we better now ? Who knows. I think what is more important is that two days into free agency and two lost starters you could make the point that we are as good as before !

It looks like the FO has a plan and I like every move so far.

Has anyone noticed that this happens every year lately the way Baalke and Harbaugh run the team. The FA period starts and the Niners aren't making a big splash in the free agency marathon. Web Zone worriers worry that the team hasn't been aggressive enough - no big signings - no impact players - what are the Niners doing!!! And, this is always prior to a draft when they have a boatload of picks they've amassed.

Word is Revis is going to the Patriots. If true at least another consistent conference championship loser is trying to go to next level.

The next level of salary cap Hell.

He got cut because he is a walking circus that comes through town and steals everybody's money.

Revis "island" isn't actually an island, it is a sinkhole.

ah , they are just scared because denver got ware. it does not matter, the nfc will win the super bowl again due to how the top two teams in the nfc play. right now the so called top afc teams are unable or unwilling to play that type of physical football

no. maybe that is why the 94 super bowl is my least favorite super bowl, the team was made up of free agents and older players which we were unable or unwilling to replace with younger ones which then led to our path to salary cap hell.

i am specifically talking about the patriots and broncos here, with the saints thrown in. teams who in 3 years or so will have the window slammed in their face.

and i am not talking about trading high picks, i think that is always stupid to do, especially now with the rookie cap.

If you gamble on the slot machines in Vegas and win $1,000 does that make playing the slot machines a wise investment? No.
You are making a net loss every time you play the slot machines. Getting lucky by making poor choices doesn't make the poor choices good.

It's about getting the MOST bang for the buck, ALWAYS. Not sacrificing the future for the present, like heroin addicts.

You have almost 900 posts, you should know logic and reason have no place in NT.

Seriously. '94 was epic how can you spew such nonsense? I suppose since we have 5 championships you can say something like "least favorite." But I'd trade 5 years of mediocrity and "salary cap hell" for one Super Bowl win.

I get that, but 94 was a little different. We got Deion Sanders in his PRIME. And we didn't break the bank for him either, the way Dallas did later. Both teams brought him in, and both won a Super Bowl because of it, but Dallas paid the higher price in the long run.

Maybe both teams still win another Super Bowl in the 90's without Sanders? We were very close in 98.
