Nah, not really.

The Stick was built on top of a cursed burial ground... the ghosts are pissed and cursing us. They (ghosts) were cool for awhile, but every since we've stunk up the joint with lousy offense, they've become out of control. BUT, the main reason why they're pissed and cursing us is because Niners are moving away to SC.

wow, good job, bet not many remember he ended things there. kind of like gene washington ending up a brown and the ultimate cedrick hardman ending up a raider but on the other hand back then,, oj and hollywood henderson ended up niners

Holmgren had a lot to do with that (brought in Watters, Hanks, Rice etc in their twilight years) but at least he didn't make them douches like the current regime...

We are not Raiders fans or Seattle fans. It's just the law of averages.

Is this thread for real. We are losing games because of breakdowns in play and some shoddy offensive play calling. Every game and every team gets calls against them or no calls every week. 99.9% of the time you can go back and point to two or three moments that could have changed the game if only the players would have made the play. In NO the Gore non catch, Osgood 15 yard penalty and the lack of play calling especially on 1st down doomed us. In Carolina the non catch by Mcdonald, and almost interception by Bowman along with Whitners strip and then fumble himself late are all plays that would have or could have changed things greatly.

Brooks getting fined on top of the bogus call that could have cost us the game. It just seems like lately they have been picking on us and letting the other teams win.

I mean the SB was so lame and disgusting because we know how cute of a story it is for Ray Lewis to go out on top. It's like when Seattle lost to Pittsburgh in the SB because they wanted Jermoe Bettis to go out on top. I HATE Seattle and glad they lost but that SB was so rigged!

What do you guys think? too much favoritism in this league?

Don't forget about the Ahmad Bradshaw fumble..........oh heck...on 2nd thought, maybe we'd be better off forgetting it.

This. Not to mention...Vernon Davis clearly fumbled the ball while getting concussed. Refs called it incomplete pass and Panthers challenged it. Refs still called it an incomplete pass. Had they made the right call...we would have scored 6 pts in that game rather than 9...

Conspiracy theories will not explain this team's current woes. Blame the offense for that.

its a lot like real life where you blame your co-worker, or brother or neighbor for something instead of taking responsibility for it. the fact is when you play inconsistent average football throughout the course of a game it makes every single penalty call (legit or not) more important. play better and cleaner football and the refs call wont matter. sadly its a lot easier to say the refs blew it and cost us so most fans just take that route.
