Come on now. He's frekin injured. He went to camp Smith, has been participating in almost all OTAs this year, sits up front at the meetings with moss etc...

I understand your point. I pretty much feel the same way with my optimistic side. But the cynic in me seems to remember he was injured the first day of camp Alex also and wasn't there the rest of the way...

This year if he is faking it, we have better WRs to push him down the depth chart

Faking it? You know he had surgery to repair a fracture in his foot last year.

That is going to extreme lengths to fake it. I wonder what he paid Dr. Nick to do a bogus surgery.

Faking it, injured, dog died what ever it is he' not there and we have a lot more horses in the stable so can fall in the depth chart

Yeah. He'll be back in no time to continue as #1.

I don't think Moss, Manningham, Jenkins, KW or anyone will unseat him.

If he comes back soon yeah #1, misses 4 games and still # 1 will not look good with players that are there busting their butts

Not if he is coming off an injury.

Depends on if another player steps up and matches or exceeds his production. He would have a hard time getting reps if Manningham, Jenkins and Moss are playing well in TC and pre-season. If he misses the 1st 4 games hes pretty much gonna have to fight for playing time if theyre steppin up. Which is nothing but a good thing because hes actually a good WR We finally have some other WRs to take pressure off him,Davis and Alex. People hating over a football injury on a guy whos been busting his ass is just pure b******t imo. 77 rec 874 yds and 4 TDs in a run 1st offense shouldnt be overlooked or hated imo.

I must be overrating Moss, compared to some of you. I just see him as superior to any of our receivers. So, to see people suggesting that Crabtree is or will be the # 1 surprises me a bit.

( not that our team is really looking at this whole rating system, I recognize that )

Get well soon, Mike.

Well its hard to put faith in a 35 year old who didn't play last year and the two stints he had before that he failed miserably.

Its like P Manning. We won't know until we see em in action.

Understandable, for sure.

I don't know. I just get a good feeling about him. Really sounds like he knows how to and is succeeding in physically taking care of himself to such a high level that the age won't be a problematic thing. Plus, we have good depth to spell him as needed.

I was optimistic about Braylon too, so there is that. But I feel even better about Moss. If his conditioning and attitude or as good as they seem to be? He has a good chance to be a huge asset to us. Guess we'll see..

Yeah i think he will be a solid WR for us this year. Hopefully he can stay healthy.
This is the exact reason why Alex and Crabtree never seem to be on the same page as far as timing. Missing these crucial practices makes it difficult to build chemistry with Alex.
The way Mario's been beating Cully like a drum, I'm starting to think he could be the dark horse number 1 or 2 reciever. Crabs to the 3rd spot.

lol.

Culliver has good coverage but when he has been burned by good QBs, its because he doesn't finish the play. He doesn't make a play for the ball. He gets into position and had the habit of easing up when the balls in the air.

It happened against the Giants in the back of the endzone (manningham) and against the saints at the pylon (colston?) as well. I beleive Brees' td pass at the pylon was over culliver.

He will learn.

It's also his fault that Crabtree is injured. Stupid retard throws the ball to him getting him hurt. I mean if Alex was a good QB he would know that Crabtree always gets injured for pre-season games. He should be smart enough to know this after 4 years. Stupid Alex can't pick anything up .Maybe in his complete lack of skillz and brain power, you would think this bust would would understand that if maybe he never looked Crabtwingankle's direction, he would make it through a full offseason. 4 years and he can't this out... What a stupid.

Wow being a haters kind of fun actually lulz. f**k Alex.
