Crabtree looking sharp in camp

Would not be surprised if DHB has a much better year than Crabtree.

All good. We are on a super bowl run. Every little thing is going to be frustrating this year lol. At least he comes out when it counts and plays tough. He is an underrated blocker. He has probably played through the pain during the year.

apparently it was just an ankle injuriy and after he got it he was able to walk on it

it isnt serious keeping him out yesterday seem like a precaution

He's probably going to suit up for practice today.

Yes, after 4 years of the same exact reason at the same exact time (camp) i think we know. Its funny how he cant go through half paced drills in camp without hurting his foot EVERY YEAR, but once the season starts he can go full speed for 16 games EVERY YEAR...Hmmmmm

That's not entirely true, he was hobbled for a few games early last season.

Cannot agree with the bold. I'm not ragging on him for THIS injury. But there always seem to be something with Crabs, you have to agree with that. The reaction to Crabs latest injury is knee-jerk. But given Crabs history with this team could you really blame fans for having the here-we-go-again reaction? At what point can his durability be questioned? At what point can we as fans begin to call him a bust? At what point can we begin to question his commitment? At what point do "reasons" become "excuses"?

i support crabtree but you have to admit,, this is a very very good logical post. even if pro football talk had not hyped this,, alot of us would still have the "here we go again" reaction

Yeah there is always somthing with his Crabs. Most of the time, its his foot. Seems like a nagging chronic condition. Its safe to assume that it effects him even during the season. But he still comes out and plays.

I don't blame fans for having the reaction. But like you said, its a knee jerk reaction indeed. Its pretty safe to question his durability and call him a bust, but the comments here say more then that.

"doesn't like practicing"

Come on now. He's frekin injured. He went to camp Smith, has been participating in almost all OTAs this year, sits up front at the meetings with moss etc...

I understand your point. I pretty much feel the same way with my optimistic side. But the cynic in me seems to remember he was injured the first day of camp Alex also and wasn't there the rest of the way...

This year if he is faking it, we have better WRs to push him down the depth chart

Yeah. He tries but i guess not hard enough. Those nagging injuries tend to...nag.

I agree with the previous posters that this is all just a bit of an understandable knee-jerk reaction. I think Crabtree will be on the field today, but if he's not, that says a lot IMO.
