I mean exeptionally well and the opposing team knows it and prepares for it yet cant stop it then please explain why you need to even run it. THey run just enuf to keep the teams honest. Rodgers is lights out. Thow all your harvard regresion analysis and your multiplication win percentage. It means squat. THE GREEN BAY PACKERS ARE 12-0 FOR A REASON. THEY PASS THE BALL AND HAVE AN ELITE QB. A more rounded team is great for soup talk but the bottom line is that they along with new orleans are huge hurdles to overcome playoff time. Hurdles that they will not overcome. Hows that for quantitative analysis.

Orly? So teams that rely on passing the ball are always superior to those who don't?

When it comes to playoff football, playing in foul weather makes a huge difference. Just ask Peyton Manning. The reason it's common knowledge that teams with strong defenses and running attacks are best come playoff time is for that exact reason. Passing the ball with subzero wind chill isn't exactly the best combination. That's how supposed, "subpar teams" are able to have success in the playoffs. How's that for quantitative analysis?

Yes. We are much better. The NFC West shafted us out of the playoffs last year with a dominant 7-9 division leading performance. And if it wast for the other teams we played this year, we too would have a perfect record.

We can draw up all the statistical theories and stats to back up that we are better than Green Bay. The truth is it doesn't matter where we play Green Bay or where we play New Orleans. Whether it's on the road or here in Candlestick. We are not better teams than they are and we will not beat either team, not the way we've been playing.

This conversation is void until we see how the Harbaugh 49ers actually play in January. -People forget that teams almost turn bi-polar during the post-season; over the past 5 years the most perfect regular-season teams usually turn into garbage, and the most inconsistent regular-season teams rise up and play at an intense level of competition. (In fact, 3/4 of the last Superbowl winners were WILDCARD TEAMS).

Hell, we haven't even seen Alex Smith in a post-season game; for all we know the guy could be one of those rare exceptions of QBs that play mediocre amidst the regular season, but exceptional amidst the post-season (like pre-2010 Eli Manning, and Matt Hasselbeck).

FInally! Green Bay has bumped their Knee. Watching them get shut out in the first half against the measly Cheifs has made me feel the best I've felt all week.

All week i've been saying, "Hey, everybody has a crap game (except the Packers), it's how your respond that counts!" hopefully remove the *. I'm saying this now because it doesn't even matter if they bounce back, of course it's much more shacking if they lose this games, Especially if they're held to a low score.

The Doom and Gloomers of the Zone have had their TIRADE this week, and I hate their short-sighted narrow-minded, no repeat for chaos attitude that's taken over the zone this week.

not really. those patriots got really lucky a few times, particularly against baltimore where they should have lost by all rights. i'd say they're fairly similar. dominant offenses and suspect defenses that make big plays.
