With our free agent losses, they are thinking very logically and i agree with their moves or lack of moves so far. Franklin leaves and ICE replaces him so Ray Mac moves to DE= a little worse against the run...a few yards per game but better pass rush for sure TKO leaves and bowman replaces him= not much of a drop off in run or pass coverage, and bowman has tons of speed (what did he have 17 tackles in the arizona game?) Lawson leaves and replaced by Aldon Smith/Brooks= a little worse against the run but better against the pass Goldson...if he leaves Reggie smith takes over and Mays starts opposite him= save a few million on the cap, lose a few tackles and maybe 3 or so int's (but then again Smith might perform well and so may Mays) These losses total to our team Defense being worse against the run but better against the pass which is more important these days and is where our team has struggled for the past 5 years. This is what we all wanted to become better against the pass and for that to happen, we need 1 more cb for sure but our improved pass rush might help out clements (if he stays) and compamy. What do you think about this line of reasoning? I think so far as a unit on D, we lost some run D but gained pass rush.....and of we actually get a cb like cromartie or joseph our pass d will excell.

Rogers, Goodwin, Braylon.

That would be a pretty good offseason. Adequately replaces Nate's horrible contract, brings in a #1 receiver and upgrades the line.

Not Philly good, but about as good as you can expect from our organization right now.

I would tend to agree with the exception of Goldson. With Sensabaugh resigning with Dallas and Jarrod Page going to Eagles there arent many others out there better than Goldson. At the right price Goldson is solid.

Goldson is terrible in coverage and is more of a run-stopping safety (although he sometimes screws that up, too). He's basically Taylor Mays with more starting experience.

Baalke has been making a comeback. Signings are starting to happen and they are quality additions. Malcolm Floyd would be my next choice or psycho Braylon Edwards. Let's see if Baalke can make it happen.

LMAO Dude Rogers was toast all last season. Him and Hall when they werent injured were beat like drums. Its a reason why they were ranked 31st against the pass. They would have been 32nd if it wasnt for Cutler. Rogers cant tackle for s**t, he has a hard time locating the ball and when he does problems catching it. Spencer cant even hold Clements jock but he is better than Rogers n Brown. Youre talking down on the wrong players and you obviously know jack about the Skins defense problems.

thats exactly what was said about the last 1st rd draft pick we picked up from the redskins. a guy who had bounced a round a bit and never really blossemed.... walt harris!

that worked out ok and the redskins haven proven time and time again they cant properly use their abundance of talent year in and year out.

also rogers is 11th in the nfl in pass def since 2005. which is 3 more pass def than nate in that span. thats pretty damn respectable!
