and now you are compairing arguably the biggest motor guy in the nfl to a rookie?

bro it was just an observation i made. but for you to sit hear and try to tell me that aldon is in top football shape is just false and he would tell you the samething himself. he has only practiced for one week. why are you even arguing with me on this?

When you post an opinion that has flawed logic, you will usually get called on it.

You may be correct that he is not in "football shape", but even if you are... your reason for drawing that conclusion is flawed. Players who are in great shape also put their hands on their hips.

That said, I think you've probably got the right idea.

If that's the case... consider that he's been beasting it up already....

This. I ALWAYS keep my hands on my hips during lull periods when playing sports. It's my default stance.

You can always tell the ones who never played sports...
It's not some horrible transgression here, optimus... but you have to see the flaw in this.

Jerry Rice was well known to put hands on hips... and it wasn't because he was sucking wind.

Was Aldon sucking wind? Is he in fantastic football shape? Hell, I don't know... but hands on hips are not a real indicator.

Are you guys really arguing about what it means to put your hands on your hips?

I need to stay out of NinerTalk...
Reading reports on this years TC has left me much more excited than in years past. Especially when you read the detailed reports about what really goes on during practice. One poster here said that the difference between the styles of coaching/conducting TC between Sing and Harbaugh and his crew is phenomenal. I think that we finally have a competent coaching staff, and that will make a HUGE difference. And it's not just the methods of practice that excites me, its also the way players are performing. Overall, we've only heard good things about both the offense and the defense from TC.
