Troy Smith has one bad game which I would connect to the poor oline performance and playcalling than his ability to make plays. His throws were extremely inaccurate but damn that OLine couldn't even give Troy Smith 2 seconds to finish his 3-5-7 step drop.

honestly, a good coach would've pulled Troy after the first drive in the 4th quarter. It as obvious that they had him figured out, and at that point it was getting embarrassing. Sing's stubbornness kept him in the game for no reason. With Alex in the spread, we might've had a small chance of creeping back into it, but a move like that is far beyond what Sing is capable of.

Alex did wonders last year coming on in the 2nd half of the season. This could be his calling and we have nothing to lose. If Troy doesnt fire up in the first half against the Cards then throw in Alex. What else have we to lose.

#3 - wide receivers that are no threat against a decent secondary.

Troy Smith will remain the QB for the remainder of the season. There is no way Singletary admits he was wrong about Troy Smith and his "leadership" and starts Alex Smith again. Especially after the shots he took at him after the Broncos game.

No way.
BUT...this game shows what every reasonable person knows...the problem is COACHING. The Bucs figured Troy out...and we got fvcked. It is what it is. I dont blame Troy. He tried and did what he could. Game planning and play calling sucks.
Troy WAS NOT figured out. The worst rush defense in the NFL held Gore to 23 yds on 12 carries!
Are you kidding? The Bucs had 8 sacks all year and they got 6 sacks today. They contained Troy in the pocket and when he rolled out he got sacked a couple times as well.
Sorry to disappoint.

MOrgan needs to be cut seriously, if we get a real staff in here. I bet morgan is gone for sure.
