~ Denise Debartolo York - No interest at all. Doesn't even like football. Just got the team after her brother fell into that fiasco.

~ John York - Truly runs the team from behind the scenes. Keeps a very low profile because he is not well liked by the public or 49ers fans.

~ Jed York - Frontman / Faceman only. Do you really think Dr. John York would turn over a Billion dollar franchise to a kid?... He's just a Frontman / Faceman because the public was sick of that FAT HEAD LOSER. They didn't like him anymore (John). So the best family chance to get a new Billion dollar stadium was a new Frontman. Which represents new found hope and change... It was an ace in the hole to get a new stadium. I don't know why more people don't get this?

SanDiego has it nailed. Plus, there is more.

John York (not Jed York) is chairman of the NFL's Internatiional Committee. John York (not Jed York) is the whole reason that the Niners are playing in London. And don't forget that the Niners are the 3rd most popular NFL team in England. Lots of merchandising revenue dollars in that statistic. John York is the guy who is perfectly positioned to profit, if/when the NFL ever expands into London.

sad but true SD

Prince and Dr. f**k meat may be the guys that take all the heat in front of the cameras, but I'm pretty sure momma succubus has final say. The feud with Eddie and all the negative attention it brought on her kind of dictated that she had to back away from the spot light...I think I read somewhere that a judge told them to cool it with the public bickering anyway. Either way, she's too ugly not to be behind this evil
Jed is the CEO, but his parents are still the owners of the team.

You have optimistically valued the 49ers. Since the Dorks took over the franchise value has slid down the list, we are on the low end now, especially a bad team in an old stadium. When we were a good team in a run down stadium we were worth a lot more. I believe we are only worth half that figure, if that.

You may be right, but the value of sports franchises is going thru the roof and the Yorks may well just plan on holding on, spending as little as possible and then selling when there is an offer too good to be true. It worked for the Warriors.

This odd family might be getting a billion-dollar check if they hold on for a few more years. And the less they spend, the more profit they will make. This will happen with or without a stadium, a winning record, fans...it is like the real estate boom, where a house could be falling apart, leaking and nasty, but the value would skyrocket up in value just about as much as a house that was maintained and improved.
This has to be the most backwards ownership situation of all time in sports. The only thing I can compare it to is the MLB Pittsburgh Pirates. The owners don't give a rat's arse about winning.

I may be a little naive but I think Jed does care about winning. And I think he will a make a good hire in the off season.

Money talks. We'll see if this is a factor in the next hire.

I predict he will throw a boatload of money at someone, more to salvage a stadium than anything else.

More than anything, I'm hoping so.
