Why is it that every other team has WR that will lay out for passes and yet we don't? It sure looked as if he could have tried a little harder. Hell even Man Law laid out for a spectacular grab!
Morgan is a solid player and can make some nice plays but its seems on plays like that if it isnt perfectly in his hands he wont make an attempt for it or dive or anything, it pisses me off
definitely looked catchable if Morgan sped up for it. So the upside of morgan is that he's a good blocker. Our running game is pretty much s**t. Why not put Ziegler in there?? Ziegler apparently runs great routes and we've all witnessed his great hands. Give the mutherf**ker a chance!!!!!! Morgan blows.
Out of all the numerous deep balls thrown this year, when are we ever going to expect the QB to drop one on target or are we going to keep blaming WR's on every single one that's just too short or just too long? I just want one accurate deep ball to a WR and if the WR's keep messing up on the accurate ones, then I will begin to repeatedly blame them.
However, we keep repeatedly blaming WR's for not catching inaccurate throws. I think more of those have to do with Alex Smith making a routine play look extremely difficult than the lack of ability of a WR not able to make difficult catches all the time.

Do you think he wasn't trying to run his fastest? Every QB has WR's with different speeds and adjust the throws. Our guy keeps over throwing or underthrowing making every deep throw to a WR a "catchable but difficult" catch.
But we don't expect our QB to make an accurate tight throw, even once.
Cmon now bro, I'll agree that smith hasn't been too accurate this year with his deep balls, but that pass was 40-50 yards in Josh Morgans hands. No excuse for dropping that ball. He didn't even have to lay out or nothing, it literally hit his hands and popped out, very embarrassin that he can't make a simple catch lol

I don't know, it didn't appear to hit his hands. Sheesh, now I'm going to have to take another look.
Anyone have a quick video of only that play and post it here? Now I have to wait till I get home and watch it.
