He was never heard from again and still hasn't been able to find a team willing to sign him?

Dallas signed him and on his first kick return I believe he got hurt. He's probably done now.

As far as Vann goes he will have to really wow us as a return specialist because I don't see him making it as a CB.

Crabtree

Williams

I say zeigler and jones get cut or williams goes to PS and Zeigler hangs on the team.

So happy with this pickup.

Your right it's much more exciting when you don't know if the punt will be caught or not

My point was that KR/PR is just as important as long snapper and deserves it's own roster spot. Rossum and Spurlock were cut because they couldn't contribute elsewhere. Keeping a 5th or 6th WR or CB over Vann is a terrible idea unless they can do what Vann Potentially can do.

I agree they need a PR but at what cost? Do you want to cut a Good CB to keep vann or only have 4 WR and keep vann he is a 5'9" cb that ran 4.59 and 4.62 in the 40. Put him in to cover the slot WR and he is going to get burned. I know he is the record holder for punt Retruns Who did he do it agains he wasn't playing Florida and usc every week he was playing Winston-Salem State and Howard University who he returned 4 TD agains. Let see him play first and if he is that much better then anyone ells they have on the team I'll be all for him.

Kyle williams while having a good chance to make the team, better try and make it as a receiver.

Vann set the NCAA record with 11 combined TD returns. He had 58 career punt returns for 1,033 yards and 8 TDs and 81 kickoff returns for 1,973 yard and 3 TDs. Vann owns 5 NCAA return records, while tying another, and holds 9 school and conference return records. Oh, and he also plays cornerback. He has 107 tackles, 13.5 TFLs, 3 sacks and 2 INTs in his career as a defensive back. (Listen to what Vann has to say at the 2-min mark of the video below)

IMO this was the biggest steal in the draft getting the title holder for returns to the house.... undrafted

While I think, Ginn will return kicks, Vann I think has him beat for pr.

And as far as blount goes, did he really even have a shot here. I think mrob is fightin teeth and nails just for a st spot.
you forgot the video

He does look like a steal, but...

The videos I seen look like pop warner teams that he's playing against.

yes completely different level of talent, will be interesting to see how he does in camp and preseason

if he could make the team and beast it like Hester did, he will most definitely be talked about as one of the steals of the draft

He makes the other players look like pop warner players.... just sayin,

I'll believe it when Vann returns punts against big boys. Personally I'm not surprised he went undrafted. He stands no chance at contributing as an NFL corner and he's too slow to be considered an elite return specialist. Hope he proves me wrong, but none of his returns are particularly electric given the competition he faced.

I am glad we picked him up to give him a shot, will be interesting to see how he pans out during the pre-season.

I agree that I hope he does work out, just he does not have as much outside of returns going for him (something Williams does), so he is going to have to be a very good PR/KR
For those of you who haven't seen the video, it's here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J4NvCMMHXgg

Regardless of the level of the opposition, it's obvious this guy just catches the ball and accelerates immediately upfield. I expect him to be a big contributor to improved field position right away this season.
Ill reserve my judgement until preseason starts.

This, hope he does good.
