No Salary Cap<<<<<<<<

Is it entirely shocking that the 49ers last Super Bowl was the year the salary cap started and then after that this team was having to cut guys or not re-sign guys like Ricky Watters, not replacing the talent they lost...etc.........Policy didn't seem as much of a wizard anymore.


Also, experience is relative. Yu has a tremendous amount of experience, Marathe has a tremendous amount of experience, Baalke has a good football background, Harbaugh has an awesome football background, Jed is hiring good people and then getting the f**k out of the way. There's a lot to like.

The fact that we even had the extra loot to go after Manning is one example of how he has things dialed in

Marathe keeps showing over and over why the niners like him so much. He can negotiate better deals faster than any other team. Look at Smith's deal, Moss's deal, even Gore's deal. All low risk steals. And he signed all our draft picks already too. This kid has got a future. If he ever learns how to evaluate talent (huge question mark, and highly unlikely at this point), he could be a killer GM someday. He's already awesome in his current capacity though. Props to Paraag!!!!
