Disagree. Joe was the #7, IIRC, rated OT last season.

Williams didn't play last season, so what are you comparing it to? Williams over his career has been the better tackle. And he's much younger than Joe and less beat up. If Joe comes back there is little chance that they move Williams to G over Joe, especially when Joe struggled in the SB.

very sad, but i remember LOTS of people last season saying Brunskill played better than him and that he is declining.

If Joe gave us a heads up before retiring, that was a huge and very classy move. I has a huge sad at the thought of Joe leaving tho.

Trent is bout as good a replacement we could get at such a huge hole left by Joe.
