AND so far his calls have been unreturned is a major sign of disrespect. At this point I don't think I want him on the 49ers. With the offense we have I don't think he would have any major impact until the QB situation is upgraded. Let him go back in the draft,
I now wish him nothing but the worst.

Isn't he still in Texas though?

all reports point to him being in Southbay

I got invited to Frank Gore's b-day party. I'm pretty sure Crabtree will be there. I'll let you guys know for sure.

Won't be able to take pics tho so you'll have to take my word for it.

Enough about these Jerry Jones conspiracy theories. Jones understands the tampering rules as well as anyone. Tampering with Crabtree will be treated much more harshly than the 49ers-Bears incident of recent past.

Also, it is each teams best interest not to tamper with rookie draft picks. The 49ers could very well make an under-the-table agreement with the next rookie draft pick for the cowboys.

It was also in his best interest to keep his mouth shut about the upcoming uncapped year, but he didnt and was penalized. The fact is Jerry Jones does what he wants and feels like he has more power than any owner other than maybe Kraft. You have to admit Crabtree's camp is destroying crab's reputation and respectibility. If he disses York by not responding to him, I guarentee every other owner would write him off. Only the supposed two teams would still be interested. One being Dallas...

Hey Falc, just get his autograph.

On a contract, preferrably!!!
What the hell, let's take this badboy to 400.

Jed needs to turn into a man who moves things around, even if they don't want to move. He needs to let the some Eddie D. in him and have a "talk" with Crabs.

It's time for Jed to move Personnel to the side and make sure his footprint is stamped in the concrete on this one and "convince" Crabs to sign.

If Jed can pull this off, we are looking at a very impressive run by the 49ers in general.

Why do you ninnies continue to think Crabtree won't have any impact with the QB we have? Did you watch him in college? He produced short, med, and long. He had a ton of screen passes that he turned into monster gains. And is his former college QB playing in the NFL?
Hey guys, Adam Schefter just posted something about the possibility of Cra$tree in a Jets uniform. It requires Insider, so I can't read it. Can someone who has ESPN Insider tell us what is says?

Ha Ha good one, but i'm wondering what the team really feels about him now. I'm glad they haven't said their true feelings to the media. Especially all the former first rounders we have that were at camp on time.
Can we give these Jerry Jones/Cowboys conspiracy theories a rest? They make no sense. Even if they had spoken to $$$tree and even if $$$tree wanted to play there neither the Cowboys nor $$$tree have ANY say in if that happens. The Niners control $$$tree's rights up until next years draft and if $$$tree actually does make it into the draft then his rights are up for grabs to any team that wants him.

The Cowboys would either need to make us a good trade offer after MArch 1 of next year OR trade up to get him in the draft (or stay where they are in the draft since he would likely fall to them). Either way they either have to give up picks to us or to someone else and in none of those situations does $$$tree make more than he would have here.
I don't know man...

I say if he doesn't meet with Jed or rejects the offer further, then please Jed, take the offer off the table, hold on to Crabtree's rights and after the season is over come March trade his rights if you can.. If you can't, you make damn sure he doesn't workout for any other teams or be involved in any 2010 Pre-Draft stuff period, cause we hold his rights up to the day of the draft...

And then hope he signs with a team on our schedule so P-Willy can end his career before it get's going...

If he does sign and turns out to be a good teammate and future Pro-bowler/ HOF'er, than all will be forgiven my boy!!!

How many safeties and cornerbacks that he played against are in the NFL? I loved Crabtree in college but he was a man playing against boys, in the NFL cornerbacks can tackle, and Safeties have enough range to take heads off receivers.

And if they planed on using a 1st round pick for him, it would make more sense to trade that pick to us so they are guaranteed to get the guy they want, instead of hoping he falls to them...
