This game is a must win. If we lose this then we are pretenders in everyone's eyes

I agree fully. In the past under Nolan this is the type of game that the niners would lose, enforcing the feeling that we were not a good team, but a lucky one. Now under Sing we need to show the league that not only can we beat the weaker teams in the league, but we can recover from a bad loss like last week and get back on the winning track. After last years Monday Night heartbreaker at Arizona we came back the next week and crushed the Rams at home 35-16. I expect a similar result this Sunday.

I think this game is just as much a measuring stick as the Vikings game was, only this time its not to see if we measure up to the good team like we're supposed to, its to see if we handle our business like we're supposed to. Winning this game is not enough, we need to show that we can dominate a weaker team from start to finish. Its been a long time since we've been able to stick a 2nd string QB in the game in the 4th Quarter....lets see if we can put it away early and get Smith and Robinson some field time. We win this game by less than 13 in my opinion it is near a failure.

Does anyone know how good the Rams OLine is? Should we expect some Sacks and major pressure on Boller?

My Co-worker is a lambs fan so I have the inside scoup. The OLine is probably their best unit on the team. They had several good FA pickups on the line.
With that said, the lambs are a rebuilding team starting essentially from scratch (their 2006 draft might be the worst ever in the NFL). The Oline has been inconsistent so far. They've managed several decent drives, but not much else.

Hopefully we can get constant pressure on Boller

I think the key is to pressure them early. We can't let them get in a rhythm and gain confidence. They are an NFL team capable of winning on any given Sunday.
Let's punch them early and often. Eventually their lack of experience and talent will shine through.
