Well I'm headed to Reno on vacation in about 30 minutes, Wifey is putting 20 down on the Niners to win the Division, and I am putting 20 down the Niners to win the Super Bowl Baby!

i live in Reno...my boss at work put $87.45 on the niners winning the NFC champonship...he bought it for me as a gift (nice guy). if the ticket hits...it pays exactly one thousand and 49 dollars

I was at the Peppermill before the season started and dropped $200 on the over 7 win total.

nice hit man

Some are realistic, but most of them seem to think they have an actual chance of beating us or keeping the game close...

kinda feel bad for them

"Those poor dummies, I feel sorry for them."

That's a quote from a fan on a Seachicken forum, who was talking about our fan posts on our forums, in a thread exactly like this one here, the week prior to our beating them.

There is a big difference. See, we are better than the Seahawks. We are much better than the Rams. By all accounts we should win this game, and not by just a few points.

It's not our fault that Hawks and Rams fans are delusional. If we were having this discussion last year at this time, I would agree. Sure any given Sunday anything can happen, blah, blah, blah. Like Sing said, if we lose this game, or even win by a field goal, we are not who we thought we were. Pretty simple logic.

If we play like we've been playing, we will crush them. With their o-line the way it is, and our front seven the way it's been playing, whoever's playing QB for them is going to rethink their career choice. Plus you factor in their backup wideouts against our ball-hawking secondary, they will be lucky to see the field for 3 minutes a quarter.

If the game is close, it will be a testament to us playing poorly, not them playing well. They have no chemistry. Their offense is just too depleted.

They are a sub-par team. But as you are careful to say - there COULD be a point where "the game is close". Remember, the 49ers are the ONLY team to lead their division that ISN'T undefeated. The NFC west is not the strongest of divisions. I think the teams are not necessarily that far apart.

Any given Sunday is a cliche, and it's an absolutely true cliche.
Damn I can't wait for this game to get here!

Same ol' sorry ass rams...

I could see the Lambs winning, if they get the running game going early and our offense doesn't move the chains on 3rd down. And knowing our offense, that isn't really a stretch.

But like I said earlier, I think our D will be crazy good to make up for that last drive in Minnesota.
the rams are f**ked.
