The Rams will trade for him, he'd fit well with Garrett and Aaron Donald. We can't afford to give him the contract he'd want.

Is this before or after future contracts and current contracts go off the books. Not to mention the dead money which is top 5 worst in the league. There's a reason the cap space is high at this point in time. Seattle has a high cap space but trying to hash out the Witherspoon deal and still save enough for a guy like Clowney to come in and rotate if available. Vita Vea makes a lot of sense for the Niners tho it's certainly a position of need and would dynamically change the structure of their defense in a positive way. I think a second round pick is worth it. Not a first, the up coming draft is crazy talented
A new deal for Denzel: Pro Bowl CB Denzel Ward and the #Browns have agreed to a 2-year, $62.2M extension that makes him the highest paid DB in NFL history for the second time in his career.

The deal, negotiated by Tory Dandy of @AthletesFirst, includes $52.3M guaranteed. pic.twitter.com/3fpoAMRDot

What future contracts do we have to sign that are big? We are 16th in dead money if I'm not mistaken. The big thing is the cap hit if or when we cut Aiyuk which isn't looking like anytime soon if ever
